they’re standard thugs. seen a few of those types in real life, they usually have one track minds. been in a few fights with them, got a couple scars and a broken nose cause of it, they aren’t that bad though, it’s the leaders of groups like that who are the really scary to deal with.

How long were they on the train anyway? My experience is that public transit generally takes about twice as long (plus time for any transfers that may be necessary) as driving. So, if maybe the trains around Roseville are much faster than the ones in the Bay Area, they’re a three-hour train ride from home minimum. And as far as I can tell they got lost on their way to the museum; how did it take them 3+ hours to figure this out?

Well well well, considering I already started the second “season” before reading through the first, I already know the basics of what’s going to happen. And I must admit, this guy had an incredibly ingenious way of going about doing it. Never in my life did I think I would be complimenting a petty mugger on their methods since they usually just find someone and mug ‘em or get beat up and/or arrested according to most literature, but this is really clever. He actually sets them up and gets them weak, AND gives up some of his own money to boot, only to take it back plus what the victim has later.
