Oh, that Chirpy. I love her innocence.. what’s amusing is that Yashy actually held that gullible personality in the old series whereas Chirpy was a bit more.. intelligent (She would roll her eyes when Yashy would take something literally).. seems to have completely slipped onto Chirpy, though. I feel that’s more fitting, though.. it’s weird to give Yashy that sort of characteristic, I can’t put my finger as to why.

Mike looks so amusingly awkward on panel twelve.. I guess that was the intention, BUT YOU KNOW. Anyway, here’s the end to this angst-filled comic! I hope it was entertaining nonetheless.. because I assure you, the angst is NOT over ;.;

Okay, now this page is gonna make me cry. Lucy is willing to completely forgive and forget Mike ignoring her for Sandy because she cares about her friendship with Mike. She treasures her friends.

And when Lucy needs Mike to forgive her, Mike becomes a major d-bag and says “No, you were a b***** to me and I can’t forget that. Also Sandy helped me understand that.”

Wow. I started this series expecting a light-hearted comedy, nothing very deep, just pages of gags. And while the comic certainly developed on the comedy front, it also blew me away with having deep characters, complex relationships, great writing and dialogue, good pacing and good art, and serious themes. You really know what you’re doing, and you have a great balance between giving us serious moments without drowning us in angst and giving us fun moments without using the characters as props. Amazing job! I look forward to reading the rest of this.
