What the hell is Yashy anyway?

Continuation of the silly birthday comics.. they will end up being colored, all of them. And September 1 was meant to be the date of Yashy’s hatching XD So I drew this up in advance long ago.. just in time. Goodness, September 1 is a date that stuck in my mind for the longest time.. considering she hatched at the beginning of school.. so it was an easy date XD Although obviously school doesn’t really commonly start ON September 1 now that I.. umm.. have grown up. But that used to be the signal for school long ago.
So yeah.. five years of ripping off from a video game character! Lovely! But I don’t know.. I never wanted to get rid of Yashy like I did with some of the other pets XD Obviously the Pokemon I blatantly inserted had to go should I revive this series again, but Yashy was Lucy’s first pet. TOTAL FIRST.. and she grew up to be a very important character.. easily remembered. My brother remembered her to the max.. and was adoring of her XD He used to scold me whenever I put Yashy in a bad light. Haha. Although if for some STRANGE reason people love the comic to want it redone and published, Yashy would end up being changed to some sort of lizard.. it’s really easy to do that, I guess. Some alterations.. it’s not like Yashy’s personality will change, she doesn’t show off her roots as often as she did back then.
But yeah.. HAPPY FICTIONAL BIRTHDAY, YOU GREEN THING.
Babblebabblebabblefishbye and Souppy is awesome for making some transparency gimmicks with this drawing! Anyhoo.. enjoy! VERY PREDICTABLE JOKE, YES. And the “predictable” was meant to be sloppy there XD
(And can you guys see what books Mike and Lucy are reading? Ohohoooo.)
