ahh that argument was definently the highlight of this chapter for me.
Abbey irritated about mikes seeming ignorance of daisys problems. I really don’t think mike was the right person to help her out with that anyway, it should have been paulo. (or even abbey, if he’d man’d up a bit)
the more mike helps when she’s in that vulnerable state the more attached she (and girls in general, for that) would get.

I thought it was pretty clear why it should have been Mike to console her rather than Abbey, since it was mainly Mike who she was having the problems with. I just think Sephiroth Cat’s interference here might have thrown a spanner in the works… Sandy and Mike could really have long-term potential, more than the others give them credit for. But aside from perhaps Lucy, they really wouldn’t know, would they?
All that aside, Sephiroth Cat sees all… lurking in the shadows…

Well, anyone from an outside perspective can say that too really. But really try to think from her perspective. It isn’t even about being alone, or ignored, or not having Mike. Really, it’s not about that. It’s that for YEARS she’s had such a strong feeling for him and just wanted to be near him. She’s always been distanced and not really had a true chance to be friends. Mix that with fascination and a bit of time, and who wouldn’t be interested in someone like that? If someone’s to get over something, the only real way to get over it is to quite literally “Get over it.” Which suggests the person had a decent chance to express their inner self and give it a try and see the result somewhere in there. Ironically, just because of how their mentalities are anyway, if they DID get together they’d be borderline inseparable. This thought is also very present in Daisy’s mind. You have to understand, after years and years of this thing it really does evolve into something like this.
She’s totally within her bounds to act the way she is in my opinion. And you know what? Everyone is a bitch at times. People have their limits and when ‘certain things don’t work despite uncountable attempts,’ they’re bound to try something else.
All in all, she just wants to be closer to Mike than she feels she is. That’s all really. (Though, add like four, five years to that mix of course she’d like anything to do with him. The closer the better.)

In case of people who dont know who the 3rd shadow figure was obviously FFC. YEAAAAH!!!!!
The date is set.. tomorrow’s gonna be quite a party!
And by tomorrow, I mean several weeks in real life.. less, hopefully. This is the end of our chapter.. left on another delicious cliffhanger.. but yeah. Next time will be the prom! See Paulo and Tess in their formal getup.. and watch Mike and Daisy off at a carnival. And many more dramatic things will happen in the arc finale! Stay tuned!
I actually feel quite proud of this chapter.. it’s so dramatic and intense, but it was pulled off well for the most part, bar some areas. Let’s hope I don’t regret saying that like when I praised the horror of “Follow Me”!
