Kamina is from Toppa Tengen Guren Lagann. Watch it if you haven’t seen it. Toppa Tengen defines the “manliness” category for all anime in the same way that Code Geass and Death Note define “mastermind.”

You can thank my girlfriend for my knowledge of Kamina. She got me into the show briefly. I stopped watching Guren Laggan after I saw Episode 7 (I just can’t watch that in the presence of others who don’t like anime it’s too friggin’ embarrassing), but I still know who Kamina is, and immediately thought of him when I saw those glasses in this comic.
