None of them are real tacticians, apparently. It’s easy: Grab some of Tessa’s guards and blockade the route between them. Save daisy. Save Tessa. Artillery both opposing strongholds into the ground. 2 saved monarchs, a whole bunch of clobbered badguys.

Of course, if this were the REAL Kamina he would save both anyway, BY DRILLING HIS OWN PATH!

Wow I really didn’t expect that from David. David is a heck of a good story teller. Beneath that dumb exterior is a genius.

I’ve been thinking…shouldn’t Abbey save Daisy and Paulo save Tess?

Wow… David has the makings for a good DM. I know I’m really far behind in this series but I hope to see him in that role in a future update. Can you even begin to imagine the epic crap he’d be able to create?

Been reading through the archives the last few days, and I feel somehow compelled to comment on this one.

I’m not sure why, but the fact that the artist (or David?!) used Abbey adds an immersing and serious tone to this story within a story and I find myself stirred by the weight of the hypothetical hero’s decision. The reader is aware of Morton’s Fork, but David’s buildup was quite amazing. He might just be smarter than everyone gives him credit for.

I remember the last day of my junior highschool year. As a parting talk, our homeroom teacher (who was an incredible woman) presented the class with a situation: Everyone was trapped in a cave. There is an exit that one person can squeeze though but if he/she were to do so, the cavern will collapse and kill everyone left inside. We were then asked who we were going to allow to leave.

The answers were varied: more impulsive students chose themselves, the lovebirds chose their boy/girlfriends, and many of the others the teacher herself. When the bell rang and the schoolyear ended, our homeroom teacher gave us *her* answer: no-one. Because no life is above another, and that she would give everything for us to be together until the end. Not a single eye in the classroom was left dry…

You could secretly hire an army to save one monarch while you pursue the other. Then, there would at least be /some/ possibility of saving both.
