Well hey I didn’t COMPLETELY say “**** off">******** backgrounds”, I was happy with the outcome of panel three.
Abbey’s awkward joking and regret on panels five and six was me trying hopelessly to make people feel for him.. because I’m sure we’ve all been there before. I’m not as pain-inducing as the UK Office, unfortunately. There are so many awkward moments in that show that make me curl up and want to die SO HARD.

the third panel is really great - the front porch is really pleasing to the eye. i like that you thought about the details to the porch here… and on the topic of that… in the final panel, i understand the effect of ‘fading out’, having minimal bgs to focus on the characters and all… but what you provided of the house is detatched and awkward. i don’t think the birdbath should be there at all if you were going for minimal, and while you shouldn’t provide lots of intricate detail on the house since it’s farther away, i think it would look better with just 5 seconds of silhouette drawn to give the house an outline, with a meager horizon line fading into the panel next to it. it doesn’t sound like a lot, but it would clear up whether it’s Infinitihouse™ or not.

Yes, I’ve been in that cringe-worthy situation before. I was talking to this girl (whom I liked) in Math class one day in 7th grade. Then, out of nowhere, the teacher says out names to get our attention, then says, “Reason to flirt?” Worst school moment in my entire life. I just died, right then and there.
Abbey should just kiss Daisy and get it over with. We already know what’s going to happen anyway.
