Ha ha ha, Lucy is so back to normal, and I love it. She’s a wild card, that one. Not to mention, Paulo is eating awkward for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe a small afternoon snack as well.

As for me: I’m 18 on Thursday. From New Mexico, and loving it. I’ve been following your comic since, like… ‘05/’06. So, a long time. dArt days. :] I love your comic so much, and honestly it’s the only one that’s really captured my attention and kept it. I guess that’s why I wanted to make that forum. PFFFT. I guess you could say I’m a regular on Gaia, and dArt. dArt name is kloe-the-hedgehog, so look me up!

Double post time: I really like hearing everyone’s story ;__; It is most enjoyable and interesting, got so many high schoolers and graduates! I’m quite delighted.

Phoenix: Your brother didn’t make that word, it’s existed for a long time and it’s so well-known and common that you honestly can’t pin an origin to it.

It kinda shows how much Paulo really cares for Lucy cause of the way he acts towards her. The whole pervert act is just him being himself, but when you think about it, he’s always been there to help someone out if they really need it. I think thats the true Paulo that people should learn to recognize. He also knows not to go too far or take advantage of Lucy because of the situation that she is in, which in my mind makes him a good friend.

Now that that’s out of the way, Lucy is very troubled about this situation and her insecurity just makes it harder for her. But her insecurity isn’t all the problem (partly, but not all). The real problem? Well how would you feel if the person you have been in love with for a long time and who always gave you mixed messeges like a tossed salad was still attached to someone he was with 4 years ago? And her insecurity about trusting anyone else just amplified the real issue at hand.

The reason why I say all this is because I kinda get where she’s coming from. And when you are able to connect to a character, you are truely able to understand their emotions. To feel what they are feeling. Which I think is a treasure that all good stories have.
