We see sandy putting on lipstick in the fifth panel, so why can’t we see her lipstick in the last? I can see a little on her lower lip, but that could just as easily pass as her lower lip without lipstick. No lipstick on her upper lip? Inexcusable.

I get the feeling Sandy’s parents are trying to force her to meet and date someone even though she has someone she already cares about. But they are the kind of parent’s that can care less because they are likely an upperclass family and they believe no one but an upperclass guy is good enough for their daughter.

Well I knew it wasn’t Lucy from the start (hiding the head for the front page was too suspicious) but Sandy? I think I will enjoy this chapter and now hopefully Sandy will become a recurring character rather than someone who is only mentioned.

It’s about time we get to really meet her!

She resides somewhere far from the main cast’s location which is why we never see her in their school or rather, never see her in any present-time events involving the main cast in the BCB timeline.

The blue coloration really lends a feel for how EARLY AS BALLS it must be. I’m thinking 4 or 5 am at latest. Would be a really, really cool effect if the comic’s color shade started getting warmer as the sun came up :3

I’m finally glad to see that sandy exists. I wonder if seeing her might finally allow me to not hate her guts. My problem is personal bias; I have been led along by a girl like her, except in my case, she eventually got tired of the long distance and stopped communicating, leaving me hanging without a word or even so much as a scent on the wind for several months before she finally responded to my unaddressed weekly hails with two lines.

“I met someone, so I haven’t been able to talk, and I probably won’t be able to again for a long time. Stone… I’m sorry.”

…and that was it.

I noticed something, Kinda depending on what happens for this chappter… We could have a ton of sad Mike X Sandy fans or a ton of sad Lucy X Mike fans. Or nether We could also get alot of happy Sandy fans here just to see her life. Oh and for all the people saying this could be Lucy with a wig, Naw it couldnt. You know, I just started reading this a couple days ago. And this is a TERRIBLE page to be left with. I always seem to start reading these kinds of comics at terribly cliffhangery times. I started, and finished reading the archive of, QC right when Marten and Dora were just about to get together. Very frustrating.

First page was Lucy, second was Sandy. Two pages of pretty white cats.

The best part of this comic is probably the metareference to her finally showing up in th comic, though. The importance of first impressions, eh?

Amazing, simply amazing… I never thought I would be so caught up and fascinated by this! I’ve breezed through the archive for the past few days and it’s been very hard for me to put it down between each sessions… well, not for long anyway (I need my sleep now). I really dig the characters, the stories, the shenanigans, the dialogues, the conflics, the angsts… all of it. Good work and I can’t wait to see the next development you got in store for us. Keep up whatever you’re doing because it’s great!

To be honest, with whats going on between Lucy and Mike right now, Mike seems like a bit of an enormous jerk… But I think that may partly be due to the fact that I don’t really know his side of the story compared to how well we know Lucy. So I’m glad we’re having a chapter about Sandy. (I would assume that’s what it is anyways)

Thank-you for this story, and sharing it with us. You care about your characters, so we can care for them. Tears and smiles i found, and enjoyed.. and many others as well, as i see. I do hope these wonderfull characters will continue to find islands of happiness in this sea of sadness that their life can be.. imagined or not, they seem so real that they deserve it..
