The “letter” has gotten me confused: the idea that it COULD be a letter to Mike (as suggested previously) seems plausible since she is holding the letter and such … but why did Sally’s mother say “Thanks sweetie” from the car as though doing her a favor by mailing the letter? Was the letter from her mom?

if you look at the last panel you will see that someone is shouting at Sandy, and I bet a million bucks (sarcastic about a million bucks) that it’s either (<—-did I spell that right?) Sandy’s mom or that she is dreaming about one (probably Michael), some, or all of her old friends!

Hmm… not much to go on at the moment, besides Sandy’s tiredness, Sandy missing Maishul and her mother whip-cracking her into perfection. I wonder what’s going on with the letter and the first impression?

By the way, Sandy is beautiful. I do wonder, though, if her hair is actually a wig, considering we didn’t see it on the first page. Lol.

P.S. I actually think Sandy looks adorable when she’s mailing the letter. One thing to point out, though, is that the envelope seems to be unsealed… unless it’s a box. Hard to tell, but it’s a box, right?

I know she was being vague on purpose… I just found it odd afterwards that her hair was so incredibly flat on the wake-up panel of page one that she looked EXACTLY like Lucy. I know it was intentional, just… ugh.

Sandy’s hair obviously doesn’t tangle when she wakes up, like mine does. Instead, it sticks to her body.

Love the pace, slow enough to really let the reader think

I’m glad to be able to get to know Sandy more personally. I haven’t been able to have any real opinion on who she is now. I mean, there’s a little about her earlier on. We know how she met Mike and everything but I’ve bee interested in knowing how she’s grown up since then.

Haha, I’m not seeing any of these “flaws” in the comic you’re pointing out, Taeshi.

As they say, you’re your own biggest critic. When I draw or play an instrument, all the flaws are just so painfully obvious in my head, it tears me up inside. But other people just don’t seem to notice them! I really doubt people would see even half the mistakes you see without looking through your eyes if you don’t point them out. :3

Edit: Oh yeah, since I hardly ever comment, I thought I’d mention how fun that survey you had up a little while ago was. I love surveys!

Why is she wearing clothes?

I’ve been noticing that Sandy looks alot like Lucy. Take off the hair and turn the eyes Blue and you got a bowless Lucy with Lipstick on. Idk I maybe it’s just me….

I see what people are seeing. It’s because they don’t see her arm attached to the hand. In my opinion as a fellow artist, it’s the angle, and the fact her hands are so close.
