Aaanyway. I’m usually not the kind of girl who likes highschool drama; actually in most cases I hate it and have to see extremely violent and gory movies to keep the nightmares at bay.

Hahaha, I know that this alternate reality was written out before it became ‘Paulo’s Daydream’ but I can’t help but picture all of this ending with Paulo coming back to reality hours later, finding himself in some crazy situation that he has no memory of getting in, and being all like, “Wait, what the hell?”

Alternate reality or no, I am glad that Lucy didn’t wind up preggo. It’s turned into the worst kind of cliche and is honestly a fairly sadistic thing to do to characters that young and has become all too popular. “Want some drama? Give ‘em a baby!” I swear to God, it’s this generations ‘secretly inviting two people on the same date’. I won’t say I’m not curious as to how that would’ve turned out, but I think having an alternate reality set within an alternate reality would run the risk of rending the universe in twain.

And while I know this has been said to death, I’m gonna bury it an extra couple of feet and say: Paulo’s dad rocks!

Okay, so… no kittens, Paulo and Lucy are really happy, Paulo’s Dad is (slightly) approving, Lucy has moved on from Mike, and the world hasn’t ended (yet)… I hate to sound like a broken record, but seriously, am I the only one a bit concerned about what the bloody h*ll will happen in the next few pages that makes Paulo say “It woulda been a mistake. A big mistake…” at the beginning of this whole daydream?! Everything seems to be going his way right now, so what is his angst-y problem when he is imagining this as a whole?

My guess is Mike, in a jealous rage, stabs Paulo with a knife, where he slowly dies in a heartbroken Lucy’s arms.

Ok, now that thats out of ma system, back to the story. first of all, I would like to comment that ITS ABOUT FRIGGEN TIME. I MEAN THE ANTICIPATION WAS FRIGGEN KILLING ME HERE.
Second, when Paulo and Lucy begin to have there fwooshy moment (yes, fwooshy) you almost forget that Paulo’s dad is there. And i LOLd at how fast he was on the reaction time.
Third. All in all, I would have accepted either way the story went.

P.S. I feel I need to tell everyone that I am neither a PauloxLucy supporter nor a MikexLucy supporter. Why? First, I,m only here for the food (well I guess I should say candy lol). Second, I’m just a modest homebody that likes to do reviews of comics I find interesting, so I like to see whether a story will go the way I anticipate it, or take a turn for the worse, or maybe for the better, and so far this comic has practically kept me in excitement since i first started reading it.

Oh MAN do you have any idea how hard it is to find something like this!? IT SHOULD BE A HIGHLY-PAID CAREER TO FIND THINGS LIKE THIS. And gosh, if it were, I’d DEFINITELY be the man for the job.
