Some parts of the stories with Mike and Lucy is like with me and my friend.
She will compete with me with games and running and everything always trying to win. She has to deal with jerks asking her out, which she replies without violence but just as mean. I have to deal with lots of girls liking me, which I turn down all the time.
And then the way both of us act is just so similar to how Mike and Lucy did at least in the first few chapters.

and as for the dead dog, I went back to see why she is gone and I descovered that she hasn’t made a move on david that was big enough for him to realise that he dosn’t know who this person is since the cristmas party and after that she has gotten less and less happy atantion from david even while they are talking silently in the backround. eventualy she started avoiding him and then blended into the femail group as filler. then she was gone. I think she slowly gave up right in frount of us and then left the group.
I find it odd how few people who liked her got this sad reality.
