Is it just me, or does daisy kinda look like a squirrel here?!!? Not to criticize the guest comic makers or anything though. It’s nice to see the characters drawn differently

*barges in* I almost forgot about the update today, still not use to the schedule ;^^, anyway I was having a hard time trying to figure out this comic, but what I could tell is that there is a very subtle poem being written while Daisy is dancing around with an umbrella. What I could also tell is that the poem is somewhat reflecting on Daisy’s actions, for example: when the poem is describes dancing then you see Daisy dancing around the panel. Overall I would classify this as an artistic comic, you have to over-analyze every detail in order to figure out what the artist is trying to tell you on this single panel and this is my two cents on what I thought about it. Also I like the artwork on Daisy overall, she looks a little like a cartoon character.

I have to admit, I do like how they drew Daisy in this. Feels cartoony… and bit Cat in the Hat-ish cartoony in some of the Daisy copies (Top Middle, Middle Left, and Bottom Right ones)

I just read their comic (start to finish), looks good.

I like Mike x Lucy too, but if we (by we, I mean MxL fans in general) keep badgering Taeshi about it, then she’s likely not gonna make it happen. If she even intends to at all anymore…

I say that last part because alot of us have been trolling her about it, trolling Paulo x Lucy fans about it, and trolling Mike x Sandy fans about it. They’ve been showing more maturity then the majority of us Mike x Lucy shippers have been. It’s kinda sad actually.

I’ve already pointed out that Mike and Lucy still love each other deep down and alot of the other shippers have agreed. But they have issues to sort out right now and it won’t happen overnight.

If it helps, read my past posts over the last 4 or 5 pages and then read the responses I received. I’m Mike x Lucy as I have stated countless times, but I am also understanding enough to know that it’s just not gonna happen for them right now. (If it ever happens now considering all the MxL trolls out there hounding Taeshi and everyone else…)

Just take it easy and let it ride for now. Who know? Maybe Taeshi will recognize us ‘sane’ Mike x Lucy fans and perhaps she may reward our understanding and acceptance. Maybe…

I like Daisy, but the dancing in the rain thing has been used a million times. Yashy, while not annoying in this comic (a God-sent, by the way), she’s not funny either.

I feel the artists rendering of daisy in this cartoon style really portrays her more kiddish ambitions, it’s not true to the BCB comic no, but it is a very nice render, and as far as Yashy taking the fun out of Daisy’s parade, seems spot on to me, very nice work.

Heh. Daisy “Singing in the Rain,” though I’m afraid I don’t get Yashy’s comment.

Dear Taeshi (or whoever reads this):

I couldn’t help but notice that on the “About” section of the website there is a FAQ. As I read through this, trying to find what technology you use to create your masterpieces, I noticed the question: “Will Lucy and Mike be together” or something like that. The answer said yes. I flipped. I came back later, noticed it said NO. I laughed to myself, thinking you were constantly editing it to catch people off guard. I scrolled up, then back down and whaddya know. It said yes again.

It’s supposed to, in a fridge logic fashion, mean that whether or not they end up together by the end of the comic, their relationship will still keep flipping on and off for the rest of their lifetime. After all it didn’t say “be together in the last chapter”.
