As the line above suggests, I highly doubt she was so upset that she’d start crying naturally. Her tears just seemed too…sudden. Plus the fact that she turned away appeared planned to add to the guilt effect.

Still, two years seems like an absurd length of time to hold a grudge, even for what Tess may have done(which we still don’t know, damnit…). Tess is making an effort to redeem herself, why won’t you let her try, Jess?

BCB incentives have found themselfs a dark version… hope i dont spoil it for everyone on the long run but this looks like a nightmare although he hasnt figure out its really until it bite him…

Ps.: looks like abbey lost it and beat up daisy and shes going trough that “im fat and ugly” fase…truly this has to be a nightmare for it doesn´t match the personality of the characters.

Obviously the incentive is clearly a “what if” comic that’s all in somebody’s head (Probably Mike’s or Lucy’s) about all the things that will go wrong if Sandy and Mike actually see each other in person.

Saw Mike the first time in the Las Lindas comic, just saw Lucy this time. Didn’t see Lucy cutting herself in the incentive, however. Though in today’s incentive… Daisy’s not just anorexic, but she’s also been hit by Abbey…?! And ******’s there! …Though she seems messed up and has a knife on her desk…

what the hell is up with that incenitve?? damn.

seems more like a sarcastic hyperbole on the depressive side of the characters, you know…dark humor - the first few panels were pretty sad but the fourth seems a bit funny to me..

Looks like the incentive comic is kinda like the final season of LOST….
… nah not really. I mean you, Taeshi, you know it’s just…. a side story, just something like a ‘want if..?’.
But back to the LOST reference, it feels like this way because we are reading 2 stories at the same time. Just like LOST final season. Also because dead people are alive again.
And I also think the incentive story is showing us the ‘butterfly effect’: Molly dies, then Abbey gets crazy because of this. So he do bad things with Daisy, making her a scary and paranoiac kitty. Daisy can’t help Lucy anymore, so Lucy gets totally emo. And since Lucy is emo, she’s not gonna love/kick Paulo anymore, making him go play with all the other girls.
… ok, now next: David and Carson being a gay couple!

I’m glad the incentives aren’t canon. We’re getting close to a Shion-level massacre, if Lucy is any indication. And it will be AWESOME.

Maybe it’s just me because I see elephants everywhere, but why are half the cast clothed and the other just wearing accessories (bows, necklaces, etc). I can understand keeping the original integrity of the characters in line but it just seems sort of awkward to have this different direction with character design (unless it’s like Sabrina (from Sabrina-Online) who wears only a shirt, but is later released that her pants match her fur as a joke).

@D in R. Everyone has their dark side, and this happens to be Taeshi’s. Yes, it’s not normal or what were used to, but is it bad? I hope to see more work like this from Taeshi in the future.

Just making sure I know a few people would freak over that

Honestly though, I think this makes the characters seem more three dimensional—that what you see in regular BCB is just a piece of the characters’ personalities. Like I said, everyone has there dark side, wither they are real or fictional. What we see in the incentive could very well be what the characters subconsciously think of themselves. However, I can see how what Taeshi is doing with the incentive can be perceived as taking it to an extreme.

It also could be the direction the comic will take if things get any worse for the characters and taeshi is just seeing how everyone will react if it went that way. I don’t think many people want to see Lucy like that though
