Honestly, I can’t really say I got ripped off. I guess it may just be that I have been reading way too many manga’s lately, but the one-panel intro to a huge backstory flashback seems completely reasonable. Plus, I kinda like the full-body introduction of Young Jess.

Why is everyone so upset about TWC being down? The day has just started and the incentive will remain untill tomorrow, so you have plenty of time to wait for the site to come back up. Don’t try to go to the site and come back in a few hours, that ussually works. If it’s not back up by midnight (whatever timezone TWC uses) THAN you can complain.
TWC has a lot of traffic and would be prone to crashes. Give them time to fix it before going all apes***

The issue with TWC going down for even part of the day is that there are many oof us that are busy and can’t keep coming back and checking through the day. I missed page 21 because of last time it went down too. So please, just let us be sad

@Skelei & Hoheh: You don’t really need time to check the site, as long as your internet connection isn’t slow (obviously this doesn’t apply to pleople whoes internet connection IS slow) than it would take anywhere between 2-3 minutes to go to TWC, scroll down to BCB (it’s on the top 10, so that’s a BIG timesaver), and then vote and read the incentive comic. I’m fairly certain that most people can find 5 minutes of their day to do this, leaving an additional 2-3 minutes free to vote for a whole other webcomic!

Don’t get me wrong, I understand busy schedules (I don’t always HAVE them, but I understand them), but voting on TWC is not time consuming unless you wish to vote for several comics at once, so a busy schedule is not that big of a concern, And if something happens that prevents you from getting on a computer/phone with internet capabilities/ect. than chances are that whatever is physically preventing you from doing so is more important than viewing the incentive.

@Name: Even if what they’re doing is more important than checking the incentive (which is a lot of things, lets face it), that doesn’t mean they can’t be bummed about missing it.

Personal example: I was going to go to an opera with a friend of mine. But due to a school project I have to cancel. I know full well that the school project is more important and am putting that before the opera, but that doesn’t mean I’m not bummed for missing out on my first opera. I’d much rather go to that then be at school.

See where I’m coming from? So like whoever said it before said, just let the people be bummed.

@Floweramon: I know that people will be bummed, I’m upset about it as well/ What I’ve been trying to say is that people don’t need to yell and complain about it untill AFTER it is known whether or not TWC will be down long enough to miss the incentive.

TWC will most likely be back up before the change in incentive (and if it isn’t I’m pretty sure we can convince Taeshi to push the incentives back a day to compensate, assuming this is possible. Even if it isn’t the incentive would not dissappear forever, I’m pretty sure they can do something about it ) and most people will be able to see it then.

Now, if it doesn’t come back up by that point, than people can whine about it all they want, I’d even join in said whining. But there is no point in whining about it right now because their are still several hours until the “point of no return”

So i’m not telling people to not be upset, I’m just telling them to not complain about it, that’s all.

A silent reader emerges! I’ve been reading this comic for about a year now, and might I say, it is amazing and stunning to read. I absolutely adore the character’s little traits and quirks, Daisy in paticular!

Also, I’m a little bummed about the incentive due to the fact I’m 5 hours ahead of the updates, so say it gets updated at 12am by Taeshi, that’s 5am for me, so obviously i can’t stay up to see if the servers start working again.
