And I have to ask, did this really go unreported to the police? This is at least battery (a misdemeanor), and is almost certainly aggravated assault (a felony): Roger should be in prison, assuming of course he is not in prison already (given his apparent behavior, this is a very likely scenario).

But then (as with this comic and IRL), teens and kids can be damn cruel little dicks something that some adults remain surprised over. It will be interesting to see what exactly tipped the scales for her and when (unless there’s some past comic I’m not remembering). Granted while the desire for revenge and turning the tables on her when they could is understandable of course (and even more so here), it didn’t make them bullying her at all a good thing. Granted given the fact she wasn’t expelled for some of this stuff I guess the other methods of getting rid of her were moot and felt like dispensing their own form of “justice”.

I wonder what excuse was given for the broken arm anyway…? I mean heck where are the teachers? I mean they’d at least be curious even if nothing came out of it so they must have been fed a line about what happened.

This page is really good actually. The panels flow relatively smoothly together, and the expressions are very good, especially at the end.

Suggestion: I myself was confused at first as to what was going on because it was a flashback within a flashback. Earlier we witnessed Jessica by the hospital room and zach with his broken arm. If this flashback is further in the past(Which it must be because it’s how his arm got broken), I would designate that by some sort of color overlay, rather than making it the same bright color scheme as the present flashback. Yush?
