In completely brutal honesty, perspective has never been Taeshi’s strong suit, and the weakness definitely shows here.

That said, all the characters look pretty damn great. And in a way, this page is brilliant at showing off just how isolated/mortified Lucy’s feeling. Amongst all the everyday smiley faces with chats and bickers, there’s that one miserable looking one that sticks out way more this way than if you put her on her own pedastool and set up every camera angle to include her pouty face alone.

In short, she seems all the more alone in the crowd, and in that sense, I find this page artistically brilliant.

Rukral: because that’s how insecure teenagers work. That party isn’t a party to her, it’s an event where she has to socialize with a lot of people and is supposed to be the center of attention.
Except, she doesn’t know how to socialize with that many people, most of whom aren’t in her circle of friends, so she doesn’t know if they’ll like or hate her and would, of course, worry that it would be the latter. She’s also used to being left in the corner while everyone else is having fun, which would be even more obvious if she were left in the corner while she’s supposed to be the center of attention.
Add to that the fact that Lucy does have a lot of pride, you’ll get someone who can’t imagine anything worse than being a failure, but is completely certain that they will fail in this event.
Obviously, instead of looking forward to this, like any normal person would, she’s completely terrified. Duh.

@tigerkitty, impossible, the only possible way of making furrys is to alter sex cells to contain replaced dna in the right parts, such as changing the gene for no fur to fur, and the ear gene, and give it a tail gene instead of a no tail gene. its quite complicated and most likely going to fail, and im probably going to have a lot of mutated dead fetuses from these experiments.
