I think its going to a point in time that us readers were not shown earlier in the comic, most likely to progress the story and help further character development (Mike and Lucy’s old relationship if I’m looking at this correctly).
So maybe Lucy didn’t have her first kiss at that point (since she was pretty good at when she kissed Mike )

Hmmm. It’s good to see Lucy’s bow again. I didn’t think I could miss it this much. And I’m now noticing her hair has gotten much longer. At least I think those long lengths of fur going down the sides of her face in the past couple of pages is considered her hair, hard to tell. And I see the side view of Lucy’s cute pink nose is not sticking out a lot but just enough to be seen. I guess It really was just a one-time thing last page.
