Seems Jasmine’s eventually gonna have to make a choice between her busy schedule and Paulo. A lot can stem from that alone, and a 28 page chapter is quite the longrunner.

I’m gonna have to see more before I can guess at anything.

Jasmine sure has a lot of activities that she’s in, funny thing is back then I know of some teen’s in my high school that do a boat load of activities and are able to keep up their grades, I don’t know how they do it but I envy them back then.

This will either be an event to push the two together, or Paulo will be separated and sent again on his quest to find someone perfect for his incredibly imperfect self.

Didn’t Jasmine say at the end of Pillow Talk that she would make more of an effort to hang out with Paulo? I guess that is simply not happening. So she was lying? Damn, poor Paulo…I’m getting the feeling that PauloxJasmine won’t last too much longer. Knowing Paulo, he’s bound to blow another goddam fuse like he did before. We can only hope that LucyxPaulo will rise from the ashes of this relationship like a phoenix…

Seriously, in the next page, I can almost imagine Lucy walking up to Paulo all of a sudden and them making small talk. Maybe they’ll even begin hanging out right then and there? That, or the next page will cut to Jasmine hanging out with her friends. The perspective sticking to Paulo sounds a lot more interesting though, I gotta say.

Panel 1: Who is that black and white cat with the blonde hair? She has a yellow bell, kinda like Larken, yet her clothes make me think of Augustus. She seems interesting enough for being a person in the background.

This looks ****ing great. Exactly the right kind of chapter for me. Now Lucy just needs to show up and the short-fuse of the drama will blow up right in our faces (but in a good way).

It’s worth considering that if she’s got all this stuff she’s doing, she’s probably missing out on a lot of time just hanging out with her friends. Or maybe she wants to talk to them about relationship issues outside of school. I mean, she’s gotten some new info from Jess, and there’s been plenty of time to ponder it on her own since the party.

Or it’s entirely possible that Jazz is approaching a breaking point with all the stuff she’s doing and would rather not burden him. We don’t really know what all else is going on with her. Maybe her life is even more hectic than Paulo knows.

Either way, eagerly awaiting the next pages.

I want their relationship to work but Jasmine isn’t putting in her fair share. and I don’t know about anyone else but in my high school freshmen weren’t allowed to be in too many activities. (I know that this is just a comic but Jass is spreading herself too thin, she may self distrust)

I sense a disturbence in the force, as if a million voice cryed at the same instant “oh boy, here we go”.
I do not blame Jasmine for taking so many activities, if i was yonger, at her age, i wold have done the same, what i do think that she is droping the balls, is not makin the best to actualy stay with Paulo.
I’m not exatly a Paulo fan but the men is beeing almost Budha Patience, she cold go to her clubs and school meetings, but also make a way that the aftermach activities could include him, or better, just be with him.
Again, i do not Blame Jass, she is thinking of hr future, something i shold have done at her age, but i would totaly understand Paulo if he get tired of waiting.

Remember all those 50+ chapters where Mike was in almost every page and every panel? Yeah.

Not only has Paulo always been a main character with Lucy, Mike, etc., but just having focus on that one character doesn’t mean that another one isn’t.

She’s probably just a noob at dating…I don’t see her being completely unreasonable…maybe if they just had a heart to heart about how they feel about the time they spend together they can figure something out….unless they they both have very different needs…it might not work out so good.

For all those ragin’ at Jess, remember, they’re in highschool. Yeah, she sees her friends in her classes more than she sees Paulo at all, but part of maintaining good relationships with those friends is hanging out with them after school as well—not just devoting all your free time to one person, boyfriend or not. And if someone ever tries to convince you that all your free time belongs to them because you’re in a relationship with them, run. They’re going to be a very controlling partner. I know from experience.

So don’t get too mad at Jess for going with her friends to the mall instead of wherever else with Paulo. They probably have the most normal relationship out of all the BCB characters, aside from Daisy and Abraham.

Still don’t get how Paulo would think it’s weird going with Jasmine and her friends. When I was in High School, I was friends with people of every grade, and we’d always hang out with each other. Granted, Jasmine and her friends are going shopping, most likely for clothes and what not, but still…it’s not the worst thing in the world.
