Why can’t Paulo get her to a doctor? Instead of asking the blue cat how to get to Roseville, he SHOULD be asking her how to get to a HOSPITAL. I understand the necessity of getting her closer to home, but getting her to a place where she can rest easy and quickly seems a touch more important. And about the blue cat; not the weirdest thing that we’ve seen in this comic. After all, Jessica is a purple cat with red eyes, and I’ve never heard of such a thing like that in real life. But this new blue cat is NOT blue, Taeshi. She’s purple (maybe indigo). Look at her; that is a deep shade of purple, but its freaking purple.

I hope Lucy doesn’t make it to rehearsal. She shouldn’t even ****ing be worried about it at this point. Paulo may not be her mother but he’s taken over the job of current guardian as of now.

Even in her sickened daze, Lucy actually cares about the fact that Paulo didn’t give the guy his towel back. I would’ve not cared at all and I would’ve told her to hush. He does the annoyed “Hmm.” thing, but even so.

Notice how Paulo talks to this new girl. He doesn’t seem womanizing or enchanted by her looks or whatever else. I just find that surprising. Maybe due to the presence of Lucy (though that’s never stopped him before)?

I beleive the species of the feline with the blue-ish hue to be a panther of a sort. Though shenanigans, or possibly just a freak accident with some blue primer at a young age, could make this assumption completely incorrect.

I like how Lucy only opened her eye(s) just to see Paulo throw the towel away.

No one really knows how times works between comic frames, so they could be in another country.

Wait, wasn’t that the fan-character chick from some comic in the gallery? Like, in the comic, she was trying to take over Lucys’ life but, one night, Mike came in and killed her or something.

My mistake. First off, the character I was thinking of was NOT in the gallery, she showed up during the guest comic event. Second, she wasn’t a cat either. She was some sort of blue demon thing. So…. I was like….WAAAY off.

I say the cat is the color of a mountain, when seen from far away….some people say that it’s purple and some say it’s blue.

i just received my book… good thing i checked outside my front door, because i heard thunder… and there wasn’t much protecting the book, so i got lucky there.

…you know, the book is surprisingly light and smaller than i expected, i thought it’d be twice this side, for some reason.

too bad the pages aren’t protected by some plastic seal or some kind of shield… i’m worried about tearing them, so i’ve been turning them very slowly and gently.

just looked through the first few introductory pages… nice book.

i still hate paulo, though… yet you had lucy compliment him and insult mike right before the book even really begins.

It certainly is not, if anything they are gorging themselves. The amount of work that Tae and Suit put into that book justifies 3 times that value. The main difference is that they are nice people and because this comic is not mainstream. If it was the price would jack up. So why isthe price so low currently then? Because bfn is such a small audience that almost all of the community newes to buy a book to make there effort worth while. Tae andSuit also seem to be awere the human kind is stingy, like you, and that they can’t appreciate true worth. Stop complaining already. It IS cheap, gut wrenchingly so. So if you like and support this comic, buy it. It is the least you can do. And btw, part 2. Should be worth way more because it’s in color.

Most mainstream graphic novels are around 30$ new. not to mention the artwork is a slightly higher standard than that of part 1’s, (Not dissing taeshis artwork, it’s much better now). Not to mention it’s her first book.
