OOoo! New chapter! Exciting! We really haven’t seen much of Tess lately. Can certainly relate to her feelings… my final year too (well, except if I end up staying for grad school).

Oh wow, I completely forgot that this was Tess final year. I bet she might look back on how thing’s went during her school life.

I think that she should lighten up a little. She seems to at least made peace with Jessica and Rachel. And it’s her senior year, we haven’t seen the party Tess that we used to see. I miss her.

I was a lot happier during my final year, then again, I was happy to get away from most of the people I knew.

This comic is getting darker, and more depressing. It’s like no one is happy anymore. I think I’ve lost track of the time frame in here too. Did the school play ever happen? I can see that the writing is aiming toward more serious problems, the kind that teenagers experience as they get older; the feelings of being forever alone, the angst that coming from self discovery. It would be nice to see a smiling face once in a while though.

I’m finally used to the new style though.

Loving the style with Tess.
It seems that we’re taking a gander that departed characters now making their comebacks.
Unfortunately, I’ve got the sinking feeling that Paulo and Tess action might flourish a bit from this chapter, but nonetheless I’m ecstatic for it’s unraveling.

What could possibly be bothering Tess…

Fade away huh, so Tess might be getting out of the comic. To be honest I’m gonna miss her kinda, but oh well these things happen. Really wonder what happened to her heart shaped necklace though, I was expecting it to have some significance, oh well.

Question about how the background is black at the top but fades into the school hallway as you get lower. Do you use pain for that? At the roof of the hallway, there seems to be a slightly moist paint covering it. It doesn’t look too much like that’s what you’ve done, but it kinda does. Did i say that right? Oh well.
Also, whats she staring at?
Maybe she’s looking at the communist recycle poster?

Gee, Tess really isn’t looking so good… I don’t mean as in drawing style! I just mean she looks kind of sick-feeling or something…Obviously something’s eating at her. Perhaps leaving it all behind, moving on. Curiosity is now piqued.

It’s another short chapter… it’s like tae is trying to tie up loose ends. Or set the stage for the next long chapter.

It doesn’t take much empathy to understand why Tess is so miserable though… Paulo is taken and hasn’t thought of her in ages, she doesn’t seem to be hanging out with the main cast as often, she’ll be leaving school soon… she may have made peace with her enemies, but what else…?

I really love how much more expressive the faces, especially the eyes, are in the new style. It definitely shows growth in the artist’s skill.
