Did Janet plan this? Or did Daisy insist on going and had to be filled in (I’m guessing Janet, ‘cause I don’t think Abbey would tell the gang yet)? I’m guessing Daisy got worried and asked Janet for details, and she agreed to it because she thought Abbey needed someone other than herself, whom he trusts on an emotional level, to be there for him when he sees his mother. I absolutely love how surprised Abbey looks in the last panel! It was a very good move too, for Abbey have someone lean on if things don’t go well :3. Just so he knows that he’s not alone, and does have people he can rely on. I think this may become my favorite chapter

Taeshi, I believe that you contradict yourself. This chapter’s take on what happened to Abbey’s parents is totally different from one of your previous chapters, where Abbey overhears his parents talking. His mom says “what is it, what did you do?” and Abraham says something about barely leaving the maid alive enough to care for the kids, and how they need to leave asap. No arresting or involvement by Abbey. Just some perscription-grade abandonment issues

Sure, people always go out without a jacket when it’s snowing. Not like Abbey is completely resistant to the cold. The end of the chapter, I presume. Makes for a well thought out and clichéd ending. Veronica will soon come up with an even more dramatic and depressing arc, though. Some questions as to what the next chapter will be- what happened to Lucy? Will Sandy ever find out what’s going on? Will Augustus make an appearance? Will Mike be shunned? All likely questions towards the outcome of the next chapter.

@JustSomeCritic- Good lord, you overuse emoticons. I guess suitcase or Taeshi wouldn’t care to take care of the emoticon spamming, especially during the production of writing up a new chapter. But, that’s just me. It’s up to suitcase if he wants to settle that little issue.
