To me, it doesn’t seem like she looks like she is about to jump. She looks more like she was just chillin’ on the rooftop… in the middle of winter… well, whatever, I greatly look forward to the next page to finally see what the motive behind this is. Damn you Taeshi for this Cliffhanger, but thanks for the good work as well!!

I really am not surprised. Anyone who comments that this is “stupid” of Lucy- as on the previous page, does not understand depression. Depression is not logical- it never will be. She is smiling at the idea of being free from the weight of her past and current predicament. She might not actually be seeking death- but rather the idea of freedom and control over her own life.

I just realized something this is probably Lucy’s weird way of finding out if anybody would care if she tried to kill herself. It worked she has her answer and Mike was wrong about nobody caring about her. It is official everybody Lucy is a genius.
