Also, I’m not sure what’s going on. That’s not Abbey’s dad and his mom is a dog. Is this a flashback or something because I’m confused.
I’m just going to assume that this is either Augustus having a flashback or looking in to Abbey’s house. Though I suppose it could be a scene which switches back between Abbey and Augustus, which would of course include Daisy. Seeing as Daisy is the only thing those two have in common.
Ohh, looks like it is their dad. Looks like a woman.

A sudden transition from Augustus to Abbey?

Even though I’m glad we are once again in the present and no longer flashbackin’, I’m not sure I like where this is going. For some reason, I sense a fight approaching.

Wow, that was a switch. Setting up the first page of the chapter all dark and moody…and then BAM! Colors and happy people playing games! What!? I like that ominous shadow on the last page, but can’t tell what it is. Unless people have started taking on brick-like shapes in BCB I’m going to say…it’s a dog kennel (Snoopy’s maybe?).
Oh wait, wait, wait…the shadow stands alone; I thought the fifth panel was a window belonging to the sixth panel, giving the image that a shadow was being cast on the outside of the house (like someone or something was watching them). O-o-okaaay, the shadow is-I’m guessing a house?-in a blue background; nice.
Really though, this is awesome. Augustus is involved, Abbey is involved, and with “December” on the line, there is the potential of Lucy being involved (with Mike raging, he could be involved, and Paulo suspecting, he could also be involved).
Also, those confused about Abbey’s “parents”. Yeah, they’re more like foster parents. Abbey’s mom is dead and his dad is in jail. Nice, and Augustus’ parents are drunk and passed out on the floor. Weird how kids like this could have so much drama…
Edit: Oh yeah, might as well, since everyone else is…happy b-day Taeshi!

I really can’t wait to see where this goes. I wonder if Abby and Augustus learn more about each other and maybe become a little friendlier with each other.

Not more of this bullcrap. Yeah, of course: Augustus has junkie family, Abbey has happy family, so one is a douche and one has anger managment problems, but is mostly a nice guy. Sorry, but it doesn’t work this way. Parents, friends and enviroment, yeah this all is influence, but in the end everyone still has free will. So in the end Augustus chose to be a douche, and Abbey choose to be nice guy.

I haven’t been commenting much since I’ve started my fan fiction(speaking of which is it okay if I make one for this? its purely written(or typed) and of course I will give proper credit to where its due), but I’ve still been following the story closely!
