on a very special bittersweet candy bowl…
By the way everybody!! I will be attending Intervention in Washington, DC this weekend, Friday the 23rd through Sunday the 25th. Please stop by to say hello!
Ahaha wow, okay. Cutting straight to the chase I see, Daisy. Also hello Mike’s ear, I see you there. Are you by any chance tuned into this delightfully awkward conversation? Or are you distracted? Hmmmm.

I am now genuinely surprised that Daisy does not know herself where to get contraceptives. She reads, goddammit! This stuff is in most TV-shows and movies, not to mention school books – which has perused – and novels, various school pamphlets and also in the sex ed class.
Does she want to get them from the Black Market or something? Since when was Paulo the school dealer of illicit material? That is possibly the least discreet way of getting anything.
Pretty much all stores have condoms, as does the nurse at school (she’s not even allowed to talk), if you want something else, go to a pharmacy!

@Emy I agree people should be responsible and choose their partner carefully but 16 is an okay age in many cases. I was 16, but in a long term relationship that I still am in several years later; it was safe, loving and didn’t at all mess up my life. With that said, I think it depends on the person and the relationship, for some 15 is okay and for others 18, others 25… people are different!
Considering Daisy and Abbey have dated for a long time, are using protection, and are smart enough to understand the consequences, I think it’ll turn out fine for them. Although this is BCB so maybe that’s a dangerous statement to make
