Veronica: hahahahahahaah

This page and the one before it went through SO many revisions because the sequence is packed with information. If you alter one bit of dialogue, the entire jenga puzzle falls apart. Souppy tried to remove Paulo bringing up the con specifically in the previous page, but it unavoidably messed up Daisy’s reaction in the next page. For a while Souppy wanted Daisy to DECIPHER what Paulo implied, but the line was always just too vague for Daisy to figure out convincingly. So there was so much writing and rewriting and at one point.. WELL WE MADE IT. It’s there.

This page was just a demon when it came to the balancing act of characters infodumping realistically.

Oh good I can start liking Daisy again. Also, doesn’t Abbey realize Paulo was acting the way he was because Abbey choked him at the con? Goodness. I’m really proud of Daisy for deciding to see what was wrong with Paulo though.

Oh Thank God.. I was fearing it would be like those “Damn you Willis” moments. Last panel worries me. But is a quite natural way for a girlfriend to react especially if she’s been brainwashed by her boyfriend.
2nd and 4th panel- Yeah Abbey. Squirm.
3rd, 4th and 5th- Ah so satisfying for the truth to come out. Bless you Veronica and Oliver.
6th, 7th panel- Wow. Paulo is trouble so let’s strangle. It’s perfectly alright. And everyone agrees right? Right? No?
8th panel- Suspense…….
9th panel- Thank heavens Daisy. You followed your heart.

I don’t think Daisy wants to face the big picture. Yes, Paulo got choked, but it’s worth it considering the manwhore’s track record. She soaks up any itty bitty detail and clings to it like a sponge. Even SHE went at him over the phone! Paulo’s just about to lose it all. Either someone pulls him off his high horse, or there’ll be trouble forever after.
