Lucy isn’t aggro-ing this at all showing she has changed. She’s not going to hit him when he’s defenceless. He’s getting mad because he’s expecting same old Lucy and not getting it. He’s not getting a reason to stay mad at her, a reason to be justified in any of his actions. So he finally reacted…..hell maybe he thinks letting her whip him IS punishment for his actions. Let’s see how close I am next page..

Taeshi has done an outstanding job fleshing out these characters’ emotions and making them seem so real, relatable, and entertaining to watch. Some of them do things without a reason, and that’s just how people are. Not every action or emotion HAS justification, not every character knows what they’re doing. They make reasonable mistakes and don’t always hold themselves accountable and it’s just amazing to see just how realistic these cats and dogs are.
