It is. But the finest aspect is the music, in my opinion. “Man of Constant Trouble” is one of my all-time favourite blues songs. ^_^

@ sammy: When my brother and his girlfriend rent a horror movie, they invite me into the living room to watch it with them and constantly make inappropriate yet hilarious comments that his girlfriend says keeps her from getting too freaked out. She’s a major fan of the Saw movies, possibly thanks in part to my constant joking.
@ ILB: I know. I have the soundtrack~ <3

Hee. Is “Eenie Meenie Miney Mo” on there? ^_^
Comment ID #120788
Tremors was a good horror movie. Good as in bad as in good. And I just watched John Carpenter’s rendition of The Thing, scared the bejeezus outta me.
Comment ID #120789
@ ILB: I don’t know, actually. It’s not on my iPod.
@ Klaus: Videodrome. :3

The only film that ever scared me was Watch the Shadows. Most fucking freaky film ever made… I watched it when I was 14 and I didn’t turn the hall light off outside my room for about three years ;_;
Comment ID #120793
Tee hee. ^_^
Hmm… It appears that it is not, if Wikipedia is to be believed. Shame. That was a lot of fun in the film, to see the KKK sing it so ominously.

Wikipedia isn’t so unreliable as people tend to assert. I mean, a lot of what they put up is justified by the source list at the bottom of the page. I constantly use it as a meta-source for useful information because of how well-cited everything is.
Comment ID #120799
The only criticism people have of it is that anyone can edit it, which is exactly the point T_T

@ilb you have been slowly becoming more and more evil.
Comment ID #120803
Oh, yes. I did not say that I did not believe it. But ever so occasionally, misinformation pops up, so I try to be a bit wary. ^_^
How have I become more evil, if I may ask? ^_^
Comment ID #120806
That’s the thing though. Don’t believe a word of it until you get the source for it anyway, and after that Wikipedia just becomes a middle man since you have a first-hand source by then.

The Doctor who two parter with the gas-mask zombies freaked me out, and my brother is completely terrified of the weeping angels. Oh, and the Library episode with the Vashta Nerada was also pretty creepy.
edit: didn’t notice the conversation moved on, so ignore me. ![]()

I like a middleman thank you.
@ilb your recent posts have been getting darker.
I don’t just mean this thread.us

hi dr klaus!
woot! dr who referance!

Can’t wait for the next season, so we’re satisfying our desires with the new Sarah Jane Adventures. Not as classic as Dr Who, but a fine offshoot nonetheless.
In the process of converting .wavs to .mp3s. It’s tiresome.

Have they become darker? ^_^
Oh well. I will have to do something about that, then, dear.
*hugs everybody*

The Empty Child was so freaky ;_; And Silence in the library was also fucking scary, if a little confusing. Weirdly, I didn’t find Blink scary, but it was one of the best episodes in my opinion. Yes, I am a Doctor Who nerd ![]()

She has always been this dark, you’ve just never seen her do it before.
The prosecution rests.

See?
your no longer hug to spread joy to the world.
your just trying to make yourself seem like a better person.
The dark side has you now.

Big hug!
A-Num Num!
Comment ID #120823
Oh well. Believe what you will. I am a hugger either way. ^_^

I loved silence in the library!
It didn’t scare me at all though.
no dr who episode has.
I liked the one where he goes to the end of time.

@Jerk: I may use your book thread as I finish with each series. Let’s hear it for E-books! Saving my sanity with each and every stellar trip!

If you weren’t at least a little bit creeped by The Empty Child, then you truly have no soul.
Comment ID #120830
I am happy to say that I never will be, because I will avoid it with all my might. ^_^

Something like this:

Are you my mummy?
edit: try this.
Mauve.
Comment ID #120835
These children have mummies? I thought they ended with Egypt’s passing as a great economic power. ^_^
Comment ID #120836
Mummy=british mommy. As in mum=british mom
Comment ID #120837
Hee. I know. It was a pun. ^_^
Comment ID #120838
Ah, well, in that case, I suppose scientists could have implanted the preserved DNA into the wombs of animals and regrown them en masse, so that you too can have your very own mummy! Only 29.95, plus shipping and handling. Some wrapping required.
Comment ID #120839
Hee. Yes, that would be a fun, albeit morbid, marketing trick. ^_^
Comment ID #120843
Is that the episode where people keep losing there face and are trapped in a cage?

Comment ID #120853
no.

Comment ID #120855
freaky
Comment ID #120856
Did you watch the whole thing?
Comment ID #120857
It’s only 1 minute and 40 somthing seconds long so no.
I turned it off the moment I saw it had been messed with.

Horror films can’t scare me, especially not mindless gore. It’s always either too funny or too boring. I could probably think of something better. Like putting velcro under someones eyelids! The only thing that truly scares and disgusts me is snuff films.
Comment ID #120859
Really? I was horrified when I suddenly walked in on some friends of me watching Saw. I generally avoid movies of that kind when I can. ^_^
Comment ID #120860
I don’t understand fear of sex.
Comment ID #120865
@Box Were you using your Wii an hour or so ago?
Comment ID #120866
why?
Comment ID #120867
@ ILB But I know it’s not real. My willing suspension of disbelief just breaks around violence, and I can’t stop laughing. With a snuff film you have to assume that it’s real (even if it isn’t) and I hate to see others actually suffer.
@ box What are you talking about? Sex is so much effort and pressure, at least for men. If I was a woman I would be a reckless whore.
Comment ID #120868
@Box I’m just guessing you were because I saw you left a period with a “us” after it, which appears on me sometimes when I end a typed sentence.
Head back to the forum index.

I laughed all the way through Saw 1-5. You could see that they were al moments away from breaking up into paroxysms of laughter. 6 was kinda less funny, mostly because the acting was actually decent.
