Theatre Work Call all day on a Saturday… If people hadn’t skipped so many days or actually did their damn work, I wouldn’t be stuck picking up the slack on a Saturday…

It wouldn’t be too bad, if it wasn’t for the fact that it is below 40 degrees in the Scene shop and the heaters haven’t been fired up yet.

Oh well, it’s not like I had about 12 other major projects to work on.

And then you slowly drift into ever-lasting sleep… Our relatives live in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and on the few occasions we’ve gone up during the Winter, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying said weather.

I’m always off on an adventure, some days are more exciting than others…

ILB, that’s not a cure for hangovers… That’s just being proactive and avoiding them… To cure it you have to have it first…

That depends entirely on your perspective. A vaccine is, by most normal definitions, a cure - despite the fact that it is meaningless to vaccinate against something you are already afflicted by. Not drinking heavily is a vaccine against hangovers. ^_^

@Goldwulf: When I read your proclamation of sobriety, I pictured you drinking a glass of Scotch in the process of declaring that.



Can’t say I’ve had a hangover, then again I’ve only drank about 8 times to date and only one to two drinks each time.

Also, only four people including myself showed up out of the 20 plus people who were supposed to work today…

@ILB: There’s various steps that need to be completed on the set, such as painting, building, adapting, etc. So instead of a lot of units getting built or painted today, we can only focus on a smaller portion. Basically we’re focusing on the more imortant aspects, such as painting the backdrop, the floor, and the main shop.

So it’s going to be whatever it is at this point, but when it comes time for people to fail the course for not helping out, I will not be among them.

@Goldwulf: Its for the production of “Little Shop of Horrors”. and the other Theatre Majors prefer to do minimal effort and then get fired the second they get a summer job or otherwise. I’ll just give them hugs with a crowbar later.

Employing crowbars to hug people sounds remarkably difficult, and just a little bit awkward. ^_^

nay the crowbars too messy, that a zombie fighting weapon, you must perfect the evil eye and the art of appearing behind random furniture and around corners to freak them out entirely
