Furry-haters. The ONLY FORUMS I’ve visited that don’t have these are manga and tech forums. They’re EVERYWHERE yet I have not met a single person who even knows what furry is. I actually show people some of my story ideas. They all like it. My mental health caseworker flat out GUSHED for 45 minutes after reading 7 pages of my book. What is this? Is KCMO unaware of what furry is? These people find what I write fascinating. Where are all the haters?
I can’t help but wonder one of two things: they are all just one person with a super computer and billions of usernames and email addresses who spends all of his time on the web. Alternatively, they’re all haters on the internets but in real life they’re actually furries in sincere denial. Maybe I’m just that d**n good, idk. But this bugs the heck out of me.

Welcome to being a furry Carcharocles, openly people hate us but inside they want to be one of us. Nice to know there’s another furry around who is proud to say they are.

Kinda seems like the opposite around here. EVERYONE I show my drawings to finds them fascinating. They want to know everything about the character they’re seeing. I’ve had people suggest I redraw a character porn style. Yet none of them seemed to be aware of furry at all.
on the web however, the haters go nuts. I had someone criticize my book’s title based on its GENRE, condemn it to never sell, and never stop and think if I might be the guy to pull it off. I’ve thrown around the first chapter to quite a few people who were very impressed. It seems the haters are simply getting that “anonymous me” syndrome. I’m betting more than half of them are like my mom and don’t even know what furry is.

Excuse me if i’m wrong, but are you moaning about the fact that there aren’t enough haters these days? Because if you are, then I’m sure that i could help ^_^

Considering its written, and therefore copyrighted by default, wondering if I should post a few teaser chapters here and see what people think. Though it’s hardly BCB related, so doubt that will happen.

No. I’m just generally annoyed about their hypocrisy. I KNOW they’re there, and I’ve probably got a few of them around me who have been shown the pics, but I’ve frankly never heard a bad thing, and I’m gonna lawl till I die if the guy requesting the pron was one of them.

I’m back! I love breaking stuff. Me and some of my family members were breaking down a old rotting shed today! I got to help break it into pieces with a sledge hammer! TIMBER!

@Carch: Upload them somewhere, and post the links in a thread. You might find that a lot of things here aren’t very BCB related, such as the Random Chat. Just don’t label it fanfic if it isn’t one, and it doesn’t sound like one. Labeling non-fancfic as fanfic has a nasty habit of igniting the Verorage. And that, if you don’t already know, is very bad.
I have never once denied furryness. I embrace it, and welcome all, for those who know not must be taught.
