Your posts are sufficient to tell the tale; they show a marked lack of maturity. From my experience, the posts you make are quite typical of those made by people between 11 and 14 years old.

No, this situation only reduces your interactions to text so we separate ourselves based on charisma or intellect, and we are not all on equal levels when it comes to that. Anyone could lie about their age, but the moment they commit something to type it becomes painfully obvious how well-adjusted or tactful or intelligent they are.

Not really that either, considering we all use handles instead of posting anonymously. The point of which is to have something we can use to identify with ourselves and, on some level, color the future of any interactions. In other words, it’s a first impression. Hell, and sometimes you develop a stigma when the things you do precede you, like the way you try and act intelligent but come off as pretentious at best.

That’s kind of what I’m saying. People still attach a stigma to the things you say and do. Forgiveness has nothing to do with it. To get rid of that stigma, you’d have to wipe everyone’s memory or not do anything ever. And all that’s beside the point: just because interaction are text does not make everyone equal. You start as an equal up until you press “post reply,” then that reply is attached to you for as long as you have the integrity not to run away from your own actions.

Okay so my I went out to eat at this really cool little restaurant downtown for lunch with a bunch of girls from my hall. The food and atmosphere were wonderful and when we went to pay, we found out that one of the girls had picked up our whole tab.

@ Dirt: All I’m saying is that there’s a chain that starts at genetics, and you can follow it all the way to the point where you join the internet. On the internet, you “survive” so-to-speak based mostly on intellect. Because there is no equality of intellect, the only way to avoid the inequality is to stop posting entirely, effectively ceasing to exist. On the point of stigma, the one and only place you’ll find an environment that doesn’t attach things to people before they even meet them is an environment that has eliminated handles entirely.
