You know, HB, “animal” incorporates germs and everything that is related to animals in general (bones, fossils, feathers, wool clothing, and so on) while “vegetable” includes all that can be classified as a plant as well as all that has been made from them. A piano would normally be “vegetable”, for instance. Oh, and “mineral” is all non-abstract that does not fit into the other categories (more or less). ^_^
