Also, it can’t be Stacy because she is dead.

Shortly after graduating from high school, she went on to college at Harvard for her English Major with a minor in journalism. She was doing well, so well, in fact, that she was the top recommended student for internships at magazines, newsletters, and journals. However, her natural skills as a writer were not the only thing that got her so far at the Ivy. She was also in a secret society.

She first saw the society after she followed her roommate one night. She noticed that she had been acting strange lately and decided to follow her. Stacy’s natural ability to sniff out a story was in high gear. After tailing her roommate for several hours, she found the entrance to a catacomb-like tunnel. She creeped down the dimly light corridor until she found herself at a huge door. She took a peek inside and was shocked at what she saw.

Her roomate was in the center of a room with a bunch of other girls, all masked, performing sexual acts on a group of men in tuxedos and masks.

She gasped. That’s when a hand was clasped over her mouth and she was dragged into the room and thrown on the floor.

“Pledge Carter found this not-Luc, er, I mean, this woman witnessing our sacred ritual! What shall we do with her, sir!?”

Stacy stared in horror at the robed man sitting down at the other end of the room. He was clad in white and was of short stature. “Well, how about we have her join in?” said the familiar voice.

And so, Stacy was thrust into the ritual. She felt dirty and ashamed of herself. When it was over, her roommate led her back to their dorm. “You shouldn’t have followed me,” she said. “Now you’ll be expected to show up with me, otherwise they’ll punish you.”

Stacy was afraid. She had no choice but to go with her roommate every other Thursday to that place. Eventually, she learned to enjoy herself there, much like the other girls. She even rose in the ranks, replacing the eldest girl as “The Martyr”, the girl who decided which girl was paired with which group of men. She made very powerful connections. And to tell the truth, she grew to love it. Even though she could not write about it, this was a gold mine for a journalist like her. She had dirt on so many people now. She could easily get rid of anyone who got in her way. She soon rose to the top of the society, killing the previous leader and taking their place, just as tradition said to do.

The power was overwhelming. Eventually she lost control of it and started to abuse it. Nothing could stop her. At least, not until SHE came to the university.

Right now, the secret society is back to the way it was, but with a new female leader. Molly took her spot as queen. As for Stacy, her body was burned and the ashes were used in inducting the next Martyr. Just like when the ashes of Roger were rubbed on her.

Ah, that does clear things up. Ostensibly. I think. ^_^

i think isrg may have been meaning that the comic fell of the first page of the forums, and that it was forgotten by the forums goers, not that it was forgotten by the author. He wasn’t yelling at the author, i think, just bumping the thread.
