I tried making this thread last night but apparently it won’t let me post with my real name because it won’t accept the symbols being used.

Well its a very sad thing to see Carson leave the comic, most people basked in the schadenfreude of the situation, whilst others such as I were distraught while a character died.
It’s not really about which character left but its just the fact that one of them did.
I was even upset when Kizuna left.
But there was a difference from leaving someone for dead and having someone leave via their own choice.
I mean what happened to Carson was just cruel.

So, anyone have any words to say about our fallen (lolpun) comrade?

I think she meant to kill him off. it is very sad though, I don’t get why he had to be removed.

I assumed by get rid of, she meant for this chapter or something. Until I hear a Word of God, or see it says Deceased, on his character profile, I’m sticking to the idea he is alive still.

Or this could all be an ploy for Halloween, I have a hard time believing that the Characters would just leave him there to rot. This could also make a few people sore considering all the drama going on in the states right now.

No offense, Taeshi, if you read this, I respect your opinion, but couldn’t you have just….Put him on a bus or something? Have him meet his soulmate and move away from Roseville? Maybe something not so…..DARK!?

Hee. Unless I am mistaken entirely, he was a fan character so I am not really surprised at this. ^_^

Carson is a prime example of why you do not try to rape someone. Cthulu will punish you with his might.

As much as I joke about the more carson content, are you seriously worried about a character that basically is never present in the main story, and has only really been used for a 1 trick pony joke?

Even beyond this, it’s 1 particular page within the arc, and you’ve jumped to conclusings regarding what she has or has not planned to do. Even if she never references him again, it takes two sentences of dialog to explain a random dissaperance of a minor character in another story arc.

Long story short, lol ditched carson, funny joke, let’s get onto the real story now.

If you’re going to get rid of unwanted characters, you should start with Abbey. He’s a bigger fag than Carson could hope to be.

Jerk~ I lurv Abbey though…And I don’t really know why people liked Carson so much, we saw him a total of three times now? I was just pointing out that with the current events going on in America (Trust me everyone I know won’t shut up about it) it seems perfect for everyone to freak the shit out.

Yes, he is a one dimensional joke character, and noone would have complained if he never appeared in-comic again. By putting him in an actual story chapter, however, you legitimized him.

Then you had the main characters leave him to die in a way that had so much mood whiplash from ‘funny, ha ha’ to ‘holycrapdark’ that I think some metaphorical necks may have snapped.

Carson will be missed but one must wonder what really happened inside?

I’m considering making a fancomic where he escapes, berates the cast for leaving someone in a hole to die (I mean what 14 year old leaves a kid in a hole to starve?), and then just moves away somewhere and never returns.

Then I’ll pretend it’s canon and that this chapter didn’t exist.

Pfff. I can see this whole thing going all Billy-Jean on us with magical lightning making Carson into the world’s most flamboyant zombie. But considering Taeshi’s smoking crab comment, I’m gonna go ahead and leave that to the more fanwriters for a very…. odd fanstory.

ILB, I wish I had. The last one I remember was Homer shooting zombie Flanders, without realising he’s a zombie.

I’m glad he’s gone, you do great things Taeshi never forget that. I especially love the way Mike stared down at him as he begged for his life and then left him for dead. It was all so perfect.

Carson was funny for awhile and then he just got boring. Taeshi came up with the funnest way to get rid of him.

With out-stretched arms, Carson moves slowly, looking for a light. Suddenly, he trips over something! *SMASH* He falls face first to the floor! It’s a sad thing that his adventures have ended here!

Later on, his mother shows up at Mike’s house. “Hello, Michael? Have you seen my so-” “NO.” And he slams the door and goes back to whatever he was doing.

While I will agree that Carson was one dimensional, if you just never had him appear again, then everyone would have been happy. As stated earlier, I’ll respect your opinion, even if I don’t agree with it.

But….yeah….Michael just committed murder…..Um…..Jesus….That’s distracting.

Carson was the most annoying thing going, if they left him to die in such a comical manner, then it’s a fitting end for a character who was just there for comedy relief. The same with Kizuna. Now, instead of moaning let’s wager on which of her babies will Taeshi kill next…

My god! I disapprove of letting a character die like that. Couldn’t you have just had him have to move away or something?
