Converse ways you could eliminate angst:

- make them older
- get them out of high school

You guys have to remember that when she was little, she was hated by girls for not being like them and hated by boys for being a girl -.o So you grew up thinking the only way for attention was to force it by being mean. I grew up with a kid who had the same problem as Lucy. When he wants attention he picks on someone in a funny way. Mean but funny. Lucy is the problem for some of the drama, but not all of it.

“Kids were mean to me when I was a kid, so I’m going to use this to justify treating the boy I love like shit.”

Its not like the guys beat up on her whenever she asked to play. They just went “Ew cooties”. Plus it was one year only, and it wasn’t like she was bullied along with being alone. Maybe if she didn’t become an abusing bitch Maishal wouldn’t of completely forgotten about her when he started to date Sandy. Part of his mentallity (and he still hasn’t realised) was that, “Hey, this stops me from being treated like dirt!”

“Gee whiz, this pretty girl is nice to me while this pretty girl is mean to me. I want to spend time with the nice one because maybe being nice to me means she likes me.”

“But the pretty nice girl is all the way in a far away town so that i have nothing to substantiate my relationship with. This leads to tension with the mean pretty girl that lets me be emo-like”

I thought I would get a different reply from you when I typed that Jerk… I was only going to include the first three sentences, but whatever. (and I kinda typed it badly)

Plus I never said anything about Lucy or Sandy liking him or not.

I’m hoping for the day that one of them gets amnesia from being hit by a bus. That’d be a VERY interesting plot twist, as well as being about as dramatic as ever.

As for which one I’m putting my vote down: I’d rather not vote. Mike loves Sandy, Sandy keeps in contact as much as possible, Lucy loves Mike, Mike still loves Sandy. It’s an endless circle, people.
In the world of other characters, it seems there’s some possibly unfinished business between the love triangle that might be Augustus, Abbey, and Daisy. That would be an interesting side story. Also, where are they in the recent comics? They’re obviously off having a Halloween night to themselves, but what could possibly happen should an… event… occur?
Also, David is a secret admirer for an unknown dog. That has it’s own SUBPLOTS in how completely diverse a story that could be.
Paulo’s life seems to be very hectic right now, with all due respect to that lovable, perverted, somali. He’s dating a freshman girl which he seems to have fallen for, but will eventually have to clear up with Tess about the whole, ‘sleeping with junior girls,’ thing. That will probably have a large impact on what’s going to happen in his life. Heck, it could decide whether he stays with Jasmine or goes back to Tess. All I know right now is that when that chapter comes up, all heck will break loose.

So basically I’m not putting a vote down, merely saying that everyone’s got some stuff coming up that is seriously off-topic.

Were you hoping for something else? I usually only read the first three sentences of anything anybody writes. :|
