LightOrDark- If you mean “will the game be available for download”, then yes, absolutely. If you mean “is it online multiplayer” then no, sorry.

Ah, yes - the game isn’t a flash game, it’s an executable that you need to run on your own PC, ala Half Life and Doom, etc.

So what you said, for me means I won’t be able to play till we get our computer hooked up….. that’ll take a few months.

No worries Light, it’ll probably be a few months before it’s ready anyway A demo will be out before then, but…

Thanks for answering my questions you guys, but I think you missed one: Will there be a time limit to the game? I heard something about, “…After the first year,” so I’m assuming that there’s a number of years total in the game. Will certain event be triggered by what time of year it is, like say, will there be holiday things that can affect the storyline or will the scenery just change by season? The holiday thing would be really cool, but you have to worry about offending some people of different religions. I don’t think it’ll be much of a problem, really, but it’s good to cover your tail (no pun intended) from things like that.

Baeleox - Events will indeed be triggered at certain times of the year. I’m still deciding on an actual date the game starts on, but suffice to say, Christmas, Easter, and Halloween will be celebrated. In addition, I also plan to incorporate characters birthdays as much as possible to add to the experience.

Also, a quick heads up - Deadlines for voice acting auditions are 30th November. Please, if you’re interested, get auditions in before then! I’ll make my final choices at the start of December. All characters are available (though I have a pretty good idea who the oens who’ve auditioned so far will get if no-one better comes along)

Gameking - As long as it’s decent quality, it’ll be fine (by that I mean audible, as little noise as possible). And no worries on the filesize, I have a fast connection ^^

An iPod/iPhone/iPad version of the game is something I would love to do, if only for the experience of coding something. However, Apple’s policy on allowing me to release it is quite clear - I need to own the copyrights for everything in it, or be officially licensed to use them. So unfortunately, no iPod version in the foreseeable future, unless Taeshi feels nice.

I found a copy of the sheet music for 4’33” the other day :.D

Progress will speed up significantly now - I’ve drafted in the programming students at my college, so engine work will be somewhat faster.

In other news, just because I’m rather proud of it - Concerned-ish - the label the game was going to be released under - is now officially registered as a business. This means I have more of a reason to devote time to this, and my other projects - in essence, win-win for us all!
