I mean i understand that Mike doesn’t know he loves Lucy… but he seriously does… i believe in him… i was in the same position awhile ago and… i made the decision of Lucy and I really couldn’t be happier… he’ll chose her, hes looked out for her for so long i know he cant change that fast. and anyway theres so much foreshadowing! Lucy and Mike are in a play together, and in mischief night carter (basically Lucys stalker if u forgot) says “mike loves lucy”… and then the idea that people hate Sandy kinda pisses me off… because (shown in chapter 58, To The Top ) sandy has a caring side and she isn’t just another character to be forgotten, randomly thrown in to the picture to spice it up (i.e. McCain, and Brittney), shes a character to stay and evolve emotionally like every other character.

…This isn’t just aimed at you, but why do people refuse to spend a maximum of 5 minutes to search through the topics to see if such threads already exist?



It makes life easier for SuitCase and it doesn’t annoy forumites when you take the time to do so.

No one hates MikexLucy.

But Lucy needs to be happy.

And Mike isn’t making her happy.

So people are shying away from it more.

…not that I blame them for it.

In a nutshell: Lucy was (on and off) a jerk to Mike for a good portion of BCB. Mike has the tendency not to think of others when the subject of Sandy comes up and has also been a jerk to Lucy at times. There are a number of forumites who now either hate Mike for being a jerk toward Lucy or who hate Lucy for being a jerk toward Mike…combine this with the fact that MikexLucy has been played down in the comics and MikexLucy has faded (at least for now).

I still like them as a couple. =3 They’re in the same level with PauloxJasmine and AbbeyxDaisy which are on the top of my list.

It is a bit funny how all the Michael and Lucy supporters believe that they are alone in the world and up against hordes who hate them. ^_^

@ILB I shall be against Susan until she accepts Mike’s MomxLucy’s Mom. I say she should not be able to support MikexLucy until otherwise. *summons hordes*

@nameless A bunch of the times Mike was being a jerk to Lucy, some third party was involved. Example: Daisy pushing Mike (literally) into talking with Lucy at the start of “Another Shoulder”.

@ILB its because their relationship has been the biggest one in the comic since literally page 1 (new page 1)… and to see something that has grown on me like that just vanish is just not good to think about… its the same reason i had a problem with abbey, and jasmine at first

Yes, I can understand that entirely. But I know that many people support Michael and Lucy (hence the large amount of topics to that effect), and I certainly do not hate the couple merely because I think she would be better off with Paulo. ^_^

People change, friendships change. It’s the way of life questionablekitty. Not everybody gets a storybook ending of falling in love with their childhood best friend. Although, it is romantic for such a situation to happen, so I can understand why Mike and Lucy are put up on this pedestal.
