We had the worst candidates for Mayor election here some 2 months back. The one was a WAAY consirvate farmer with strange habits and known to have wasted lots of tax money in his previous term. The other was just kinda… doesn’t really do anything, ever. And worst, the one was an independent candidate (no party!), and the later one is leader of his party (The Jim Anderton Party), which has a roll call of 1. -.-
I ended up going for the doesn’t-do-anything guy, ‘cause the other one was against increasing immigration policies.

Really, if there is a group of people who are uninformed idiots and they actually manage to bring down the whole of their society we may return to the anarchy that was happily killing off those people and breading minds like Benjamin Franklin. But I still can’t answer your question.

@Migrant: That’s like asking if people who seriously like the Twilight movies should make the movie industry better by not purchasing movie tickets. In theory, it’s a marvelous idea, but would you expect these people to identify themselves?

Well, there could be some propaganda for it, like “only vote if you actually know something about the frigging candidates!” I bet at least some people would volunteer to take themselves out of the democratic thing if they saw that.

But of course, most politicians would be more interested in going for the “Vote for ME if you are an uninformed idiot!” style propaganda…

Eh, I knew he wouldn’t lose. I’m just bummed Kinky Friedman didn’t run for governor or I would’ve voted for him. Case in point, he had this to say about decriminalizing marijuana: “We’ve got to clear some of the room out of the prisons so we can put the bad guys in there, like the pedophiles and the politicians.”

The Texas Democratic Party not allowing him to headline their ticket in favor of that faggot Chris Bell was the biggest mistake they’ve ever made (except maybe that time they all flew to New Mexico to prevent the redistricting vote).

What the hell dose suit case mean when he said:
“I might be more permissive if you can vaguely assert that you went out to vote because of this topic and I believe you”

because I can certainly assert my self.

The building is town hall, the picture was taken from my car today using my webcam as it appears no one in my family owns a functioning digital camera, and the dead animal on the left would be my hair. Also, I voted a conservative ticket, and I fully expect my candy to be “preserved” with formaldehyde when it arrives in the mail.

^Hey at least you remembered to take a photo of your polling place. And don’t be so worried, I’m sure the candy will be perfectly good…as long as Taeshi is the one to send it, I wouldn’t trust Suitcase…

You should zoom out a bit so we can see if there’s a voting sign or a Megan’s Law sign. Or both.
