I just came back from the dentist, and FINALLY he took the friggin’ braces off!!

I’m just idiotically happy that I wanted to share joy. Enjoy the joy.

Seriously, I am bloody 22 years old! ‘BOUT TIME ALREADY!

It’s great to not have braces, they were a pain in my mouth when I had them.

make sure you wear your retainer. Or you will relapse back into braces as a 30 something~

OT congratulations on getting them off, i had mine for almost 4 years so i know how much they suck. Just make sure to wear your retainer like people have been saying and your teeth should be fine for a long time. Also just an fyi, the retainers will hurt like a B@#@! the first two nights or so, so good luck.

I used bracers till my teeth were all nice and right, then my wisdom teeth grew and pushed everything out of order again :/ not going to go through the bracers thing again.

It will get better with time. ^_^

Had Mine out about a year ago, now the dentist tells me I have to wear a retainer for roughly…. the rest of my life. But eventually I can wear it once a week, in about five years. As for the pain, I found that warm/hot drinks help. Expanding with heat and whatnot, but congrats all the same.

Now, go eat gum, toffee and maple syrup from the bottle. You’ll love it.

As far as the syrup goes, Aunt Jemima can’t touch the real stuff.

@ Commie: I’m heading back to get braces again in January, but they’ll just be Invisaline so you will just have to settle for pearly whites and pre-senescence.

I’ve never had braces, but i’ve heard my friends complain about they can’t eat certain stuff.

You can’t eat anything you have to chew. The wire gets in the way and can break pretty easily.

I had them for about two years before I got butt-fucked by genetics and had to have them removed.

I am jealous, as I still have mine, and will until about march next year.
