i”d send in some records for Paulo, but i could only do it when everyone in my house is gone because, god forbid, when i start recording everyone in the house comes down and makes the loudest nosie they can or comes down and ask “what are you doin?” or “who you talking to?” even when i tell them to shut up because i’m recording stuff.

I’m definitely going to audition. For all the male roles, probably. I’m told my voice is deeper than I think, though.

My normal voice is too deep for the charactures, but if you change your pitch you may be able to voice one of the charactures.

No, I mean the link contains too little information.

What sample rate do you want recordings in? What bitrate? PAL or NTSC (Yes, that matters in audio)? Do you want auditions in a single file? Multiple?

Also, those lines are awefully short for assessing someone’s ability to voice a character. The general idea is to do one line at the top of the characters range, one at the bottom, and a short monologue to test sustained voice control.

Hence why I say that the pro’s who know what they’re doing will avoid this.

$29.99 for my mic. I didn’t think my recording was too bad, but I am not an audio expert either.

I hate nothing more than horrible mics for projects, They make everything worse.

I have a mic built into this Macbook. If that counts, then technically I spent $1000 for a mic with a built in computer!

Most likely. Don’t know if y’all can tell, but I just use my laptop built in microphone. Because…. I have other ways to spend $250 I guess

My older mic has gone screwy, so I need to wait to buy a new one off Amazon. If it helps it’s a $250 that I’m considering getting, but my audition was taped with the screwy one. It’s nice and works great for voice work but it was intended as a mic for recording musical instruments and it gives me trouble sometimes.
