What’s more, I got the idea to make this from a post I came across somewhere in the forums (I don’t remember where) where Taeshi stated that she admired Andrew Hussie’s webcomic ability. So yeah… the MSPA hate isn’t well placed either, in my opinion.

Just because Taeshi likes something does not mean the rest of us will. I get tired of seeing stupid people every day and implying you aren’t human is one of my ultimate pet peeves. The constant leet-speak in itself is also highly annoying and agitating.

1) I never said I assumed that everyone would like it. I said that Taeshi did. Thus, I figured that I had a reasonable chance of not being instantly flamed into nonexistence, as I would if I, say, made a pro-Dominic Deegan thread on the Giant In The Playground forums. This is a good idea, as needless flaming is detrimental to a board such as this.

2) Joking. Posting in-character. Learn what they mean.

Just look at Sammy and Dr. John. Sammy asked for clarification; I provided it. Dr. John ribbed me, saying that the thread was a terrible idea; I ribbed back, joking the whole time.

You, however, called me out with a vitriol-filled post, saying that I deserved to die, and that I’m the bane of society. Still, I tried to defuse the situation with comedy. You persisted, however, calling me out, so I responded in kind, with an escalating responding attack on you.

Finally, if a bit of in-character posting, an homage to a webcomic, and hoping for some unconventional shipping is enough of a ‘not a joke to [you]’ in the way typically reserved for people joking about 9/11 to someone who lost their parents that day, I can only say that you are a thoroughly disturbed person. However, I did not make this thread for the purpose of a long-winded flamefest between me and someone who is far too uptight.
