Bittersweet Candy Bowl

I dont even remember how i got to the site because i have been so engulfed in it! in just 3 days i have read up to where it is now. Amazing drama, Characters, and comedy. The writer and drawer of this is amazing. for drawing, the newer pictures are definatly in more detail. which is why they have more pages but i like it. for writing, the plot is simply amazing i really dont know how this is not a huge thing.

i dont think the book should be THAT big though : o. i think its better to put it out in smaller ones. i would rather buy a lot of smaller ones instead of a 450 page book

The reason that the first book is going to be so huge is because Taeshi (The writer & artist of the comic) doesn’t like the older comics as much due to the art not being as good as it is now, and so she wishes to put all of THAT art into a single book. The rest will be shorter after that point.

i agree, this is a great comic. i saw a AD for it on another comic called two-kinds and now i’m doing backflips (literaly) because of it. it also got me back into drawing. i’m thinking of doing a meme.

Hey fox sup. I was in the same exact boat as you a few weeks ago. I got here from MS Paint Adventures, but I think this comic is tied with that one for my favorite comic ever now. And this one has an awesome community that I am slowly getting sucked into. And I check the ‘booru constantly.

FACT: BCB is so awesome, that I find myself refreshing a couple times every day, even though i KNOW that there is no new comic. Yeah.

Dude, the old comics are so well written I go back every once in a while just for kicks and giggles.
The art… well, kids grow. Art’s simplicity in its early years makes them seem younger, more innocent. I actually get the feeling of the chars growing up over a couple years with the art refreshes. And Abbeys ears? Sad, depressed, tramautized, he lay them back. After therapy, he was happier, but those kind of problems never go away.

Short in simple, the art has its awkward moments, but all of it is something to be proud of. And the comics are so enjoyable, be they for lulz or daaws, I read them often even when I know how they turn out.
