“N00bs/newbs” is a shitty word to use either way you spell it. People who use that word feel like they’re the biggest “newbies” of all.

Actually, I use ‘newb’ as a term for new people who act perfectly fine, and adapt to the law of the land. It’s not an insult, just a slang term for ‘New guy/girl’
A n00b simply posts in an annoying, insulting, or simply unintelligent manner, and refuses to change their ways when requested to by experienced people. It is an insult. A n00b, tends to dissolve into a spammer.
I come from a forum where spam is prominent, but unwanted. We have to beg mods to help every day. Spammers attack frequently.
However, if it really is irritating to have me use the terms, I will stop.
