Okay, so after getting on this forum I noticed how much fan art there was and I decided, why not try my hand? Which, admittedly is not that great at drawing. Still, I came up with a loose character and story and started drawing stuff. Then I found a scanner. So, here it is, page one for now of my fan story.

It’s Rather simple, really. Bethanie shows up at the drama department and wakes up James. James then goes out to deal with all the new, shall we say, recruits. Being very lazy and slightly mean, he annoys and insults all the new people and then gets Bethanie to deal with them.

BLEAH! Talking like that is difficult!

*The Ninja removes his disguise, sets off a smoke bomb, and disappears.*

Those… Are the two concerns I worried about, I’ll change it to the orginal text when I get home then, and I’ll make it bigger, so good thing you couldn’t read it anyways pronkat!

Fixed! It should be larger and make a little more sense now.

I was just making sure. Anyways the one character I can’t seem to draw is Lucy. Like, at all. Her face! gah!

i could probably draw lucy over mike… mike has got to be the hardest >. > lol

mike… is simplistic and yet complex..it’s odd. Originally I wanted James to be incredibly similar to Mike for some joke about Korats and Russian Blues. Meh, whateva.

This is too good to be true! It must be…. A TRAP!!!

I’m still impressed by the quality of your artwork. Sure it’s a little rough around the edges but it achieves a good balance between the details and the overall impression. Not an easy thing to do.

Right, well, even though this has fallen out due to my disuse I would like to say that a combination of Taeshi’s express dislike for self insert fancomics mixed with a desperate need to paint like hell for an upcoming tournament has forced me not to finish my “fancomic.” Just letting anyone who cared know. Although I will still be watching ya’ll on DA. You know who you are.

Anyways, I’m a big warhammer nerd so I decided to sketch the characters in the 40k universe, lucy fits well as a sister of battle and david, well, I liked him as an ork. Mike the space marine will be next teehee. And paulo the guardsmen…
