In microbiology class today we were discussing diseases animals in the wild can get. We got to rabies and something immediatly made me think of Lucy.

Syptoms:
->Sudden aggressiveness (definately her)
->Sensitivity to touch (when hasn’t she punched someone who has touched her)
->Sudden irrational fear of water (no explanation needed)

There are more, but these are the specific ones that made me think about Lucy

This means she’s going to die soon.

Lily is a metaphor for all the years that Lucy did not get to live and all the wisdom she was never able to gain through living.

Yashy is a symbol of her petulance and her desire that she and Mike end up together, which is why Mike has to keep Sandy a secret around her.

Chirpy is the innocence of her childhood.

Mike is an avatar of her pessimism for her love life.

Not really. Think of this logically here, what you’re talking about is the character being simply obsessive about his beliefs or interests turning it up to 11. You could technically do that for any interest, religion, or preference to the same effect.

That effect being the party beating you senseless by the second game
