Bittersweet Candy Bowl

There’s an earthquake, planes crash, rocks fall, everyone dies.

Nuclear war.

And then of course we can have Post Apocalyptic Bittersweet Candy Bowl! Yaaaaay!

My ending:
Sandy comes to visit (finally) and the gang of thugs comes to beat up the cast.
After a complicated series of fights Sandy gets shot and Lucy is the only one who could reach her at the moment.
Sandy tells Lucy to watch mike for her and dies.
Mike learns of Sandy’s death and goes HULK on the thugs and gets a hollow victory.
Then Lucy and Mike hook-up once more.

With a kiss from Mike and Lucy.

…No no no, let me finish the idea! Picture that with me!

A kiss!
Atop a pile of rubble and scrap metal!
And destroyed giant robots!
With the sky covered in thunderclouds and EXPLOSIONS!™
With the ground cracked up and lava almost surfacing!
Where corpses of werewolf aliens litter!
In a city razed by a interplanetary conflict, where Earth is the victory side!
And as the final mothership crashes from yonder to ground
Our heroes celebrate the moment of a starting everlasting peace with a deep, passionate kiss!
And all the cats’ cries of joy!
That would be EFFIN’ AWESOME!

This is a high school drama, not a scifi-action movie.
But that would be awesome.

If it doesn’t end fully it could go on with another group headed by Haley for example…

I’ll throw my hat into the ring.

It’s going to take a LOT of character development, but at some point the following events will happen.

1) Mike meets Sandy. Whether or not they hit it off at the start, at some point one of them will call the relationship off. Any number of causes might fit the bill here.

2) Lucy learns to be more self sufficient. She will probably never completely overcome her need for support, but she wont be as clingy.

3) A new relationship between Mike and Lucy will form.

4) Character development for Paulo and Tess will eventually lead to the acceptance of a temporary long distance relationship.

With these events in place, a likely ending would work out as follows:

Mike and Lucy = A stereotypical happily ever after ending. OR A much more drama filled and rough ending, more reflective of real life rather than Hollywood. Either way, I have a hard time seeing these two as anything other than a couple in the end.

Paulo and Tess = No clean cut Hollywood ending in sight. Their relationship will probably continue, but not in the traditional stable sense. I suspect that Paulo’s behavior in the near future may cause permanent turbulence.

Abbey and Daisy = If anyone is going to get the Hollywood treatment, it will be these two. No doubt in my mind.

David = A hopeless “player” till the bitter end. I don’t think he’ll ever really settle down.

Lily = She is likely to move on at some point. After all, she only really decided to stop when she did because she had been traveling for some time. She never said she was done.

Jess = A strong point of discomfort that will remain visible for Paulo and Tess for a long time to come. She will not forgive Tess, and she will continue to hound Paulo.

Alec and Sue = Remains to be seen. In other words, we won’t get a clear picture of them.

I think that covers the central cast fairly well.

Likelyhood of character death, if there will be a character death, starting with most likely to die:

-Abby/Daisy/David
-Lucy/Michael
-Augustus
-T ess/Jessica/Molly
-Yashy/Blur
-Chirpy
-Paulo

It seems unlikely any of the other characters would die. Paulo might swing up there with Augustus if Jess gets him into any drugs/drunk driving. Lucy/Michael could easily switch with Abby/Daisy/David, depending on what sort of “downer ending” Taeshi would want to go for……well, that really goes for all of them on that list.

I’m MikexLucy, but I’m not optimistic.
I’m PauloxTess, but I’m not optimistic about that either.

Everyone ends up alone and sad. You all know it to be true.

Zombies anyone? That sounds like a good ending doesn’t it?

Good god, a Halocaust sounds particularly terrifying. I can just imagine a world where radioactive Master Cheif’s rain from the sky, killing indiscriminately.

Much more potent than a nuclear holocaust, which just involves dumb bombs. :B


I dont know how it will end. And until it does, i wont dwell on it. And that is all i have to say about that. :|

My Theory (only Mike and Lucy): Blur is hit by a car and dies (only character who has no effect otherwise, besides Chirpy)

Lucy and Mike are heartbroken. Sandy finally visits during this.

Mike tells her about what happened to Blur. Sandy doesn’t really care.

Mike gets pissed and they fight. Sandy leaves and never comes back.

Mike and Lucy are brought together by the loss of Blur.

Their relationship is slowly rebuilt with them being a couple at the end of high school.

And lastly, Yashie calls Daisy a whore for no reason

Well… its not exactly the most artful ending but… I’ll take it!

Suffice it to say, I love the idea of Amaya telling the tale. That just seems really sweet in my mind

*Cracks knuckles* Let me tell you a little tale children.

Sandy comes visit, Lucy gets pissed and goes stomping off somewhere. But Sandy only came to visit so she could tell Mike she was moving to England and they couldn’t have that far of a long distance relationship. Mike is heart broken and sad for eeeeevvvvveeerrrrrr. Lucy tries once again to hook up with Paulo, but he finally figures out that he loves Tess. Lucy gets mad. Again and stomps off. Again.

Yashy talks to her and convinces her to go talk to Mike. They meet up and Mike suddenly spills his heart out to her, Lucy is over joyed and just as she is about to tell Mike she loves him too…

She decides not to, she realizes that she doesn’t need Mike or Paulo or anyone else to be happy. She has tons of great friends who care about her and she really doesn’t want Mike. They stay best friends as everyone else hooks up. Paulo/Tess, Abby/Daisy, Sue/McCain, ect. ect.

David finally talks to Flower girl, just for her to tell him to go away. He is heartbroken and Kizuna pops out of no where to tell him she loves him. He still doesn’t know her, at first. They decide to start a relationship as cute as Abby/Daisy.

Fast Forward to years later: Everyone is grown up and living happily. Abby/Daisy are married and excepting a child. Paulo and Tess have a “I love you no I hate you relationship” that always works out in the end. David finally knows Kizuna’s name, Sue and McCain will be mysteriously gone but we can only assume the best for them.

While they are have a nice reunion picnic Mike and Lucy show up. Lucy is gorgeous as always and Mike really wants a relationship with her, but knows that if she is every to be self sufficient they can’t be together. They both marry separate people but stay the best of friends and their kids end up marrying each other. The cycle repeats and we all cry at how Bitter Sweet the whole thing is.

I like it when things end on the high note of comedy. It makes you forget about the fact that something you enjoyed is over

I just don’t see a way this could end happy for everyone, besides it just wouldn’t be the Bittersweet Candy Bowl without the bittersweet

The path to the the happy ending could be the bitter before the sweet, so it could still end weel and be bittersweet.
