Bittersweet Candy Bowl

The gang kills Lucy in order to hurt Mike, who is devastated for quite some time. Years later, he and Sandy are happily married. But then World War III erupts and seventy percent of the human (dog/cat) population is wiped out.

Both Mike and Sandy survive, along with McCain, who has invented a time machine (his test prototype accidentally transported itself back to Carter’s house in the past). After extensive research, McCain realizes that Lucy’s death is (somehow) linked with the outbreak of the war and plans to send adult Mike (his reflexes now further enhanced with cybernetic and genetic modifications) back in time to save her. When Mike hesitates after McCain tells him that doing so would either create another time line or cause the current one to collapse, either way separating him from his wife forever, Sandy convinces him to go anyway.

Mike goes back, uses his enhanced physical prowess to rescue Lucy (which involves entering Bullet Time and taking out multiple rooms full of machine gun toting thugs) and ends up helping his past self take down the gang leader.

Future Mike adopts a false identity and resigns himself to observing whatever does or doesn’t happen between Lucy and Past Mike from the sidelines. He also plans to become a heroic crime fighter who regularly performs incredible feats of badassery

…Unfortunately, things don’t quite work out that way. Their whole little adventure, combined with the untimely reveal of his true identity, causes Lucy to start seriously crushing on him. Rightly horrified at the age discrepancy, he continually tries to get her back to wanting Mike more, further complicating the already massive love tangle.

Also, many awesome fight scenes occur.

It all ends with them all sitting down to play some game on some system at Lucy’s house.

And for the sake of what’s been said in the thread…it ends in an orgy…

I just have to ask, what HAVEN’T we covered yet? Talking banana people? Molly actually controlling all the events of the story with a TV remote? Taeshi showing up and killing the cast with an AK-47?

@Ninja: I initially thought of Dues Ex Machina, but thought of even more obvious answers:
1)Character development advances so rapidly that by the time the gang graduate, they mentality matures. Drastically.

Mike becomes somewhat more tolerant of Lucy and Paulo. Lucy decreases her emotional dependence on Mike resulting in him accepting his love. (Mike lost touch with Sandy due to her frequent traveling.)

Paulo stops being a womanizer after Roger almost kills Tess by running over her with his car. Abbey beats up Roger when he finds out, and nearly ends up in jail (his lawyer managed to convince the judge it was self-defense) and finally lets gos of his abusive past. Daisy continues dating Abbey.

Augustus finds out the Paulo tired to kill someone and vows never to manipulate people for his own benefit. David finally notices Kizuna - even though he hate to abmit it. (They become the new MikeXLucy, albeit with less angst and emotional dependence.) McCain becomes a researcher for a while, but later decides to use his life experiences to become a therapist, finally earning him the respect he previously never got.

In short, a “Bittersweet” ending.

2) Taeshi loses interest in the comic and it goes into limbo.

5) kizuna is back, and this time, she will have her vengance!

6) DAISY, LUCY, SANDY, TESS, KIZUNA, SUE, AMAYA, GO TO JAPAN, AND BECOME THE NEW GENERATION OF SCHOOL-GIRLS-WARRIORS-WITH-SPECIAL-GAY-SUPERPOWERS -OF-LOVE-AND-SHIT.

8) every characterr will wonder why didn’t I write a 7th possible ending, and go straigth from 6th to 8th

9) they all become a manga and then an anime, and it will be of mike, the guy who finds the meaning of his life playing JACKS (no football, no trading card games)

10)they all create a facebook and myspace account, and waste the rest of their lives there

Mike goes on to college after graduating and for some reason tries to become a musician but he fails and eventually dies of alchol poisoning.

Lucy becomes really lonely and kills herself.

Paulo becomes a pimp and lives for 40 more years until he dies of AIDS

Daisy and Abbey eventually marry and live happily ever after….

McCain goes on to become the next President (lol)

David Graduates from college later and becomes a scientist but an experiment goes wrong and he begins DOOM and gets killed by demons.

McCain Reveals himself to actually be the doom marine and kills the demons.

everyones else gets killed by demons.

so sandy finally comes, to saty and live again in (insert bcb town i just forgot), lucy finally, FINALLY get over her mike dependence, and admits she love him without making any drama, saying she will be happy, who ever mike choses.
days pased, and they all went to the graduation party, mike and lucy got drunk, and make out somewhere arround there, and she gets pregnant, all that happends 3 weeks before mikexsandy wedding.
mike feel, so ashamed of himself letting something like this happend, lucy couldn’t take it anymore, and make an abortion, mike feels horrible for the baby.
mike commits suicide, later then when sandy finally discovered what happened get crazy, and tries to kill lucy, but then is where paulo enters and stop them from comiting something stupid.
so in the end.
lucy dies from complications caused by the abortion, looking at some photos of mike she had, crying on a hospital room.
sandy stab herself in the chest rigth in front of mike’s grave.
and paulo dies of CANCER IN AIDS.

Sure if you want to be pedantic! Mostly I think stupidity is a class lower than idiocy. Idiocy implies that though crucially misguided and incorrect, the person does demonstrate intelligence. Stupidity has no such caveats.
