I’m into Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Trigun, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo and Universe (and all three movies). With Tenchi, I wish they had spliced the former half of Muyo onto the latter half of Universe.

And FLCL, the Pirate King pulls Jimmy Page’s guitar out of his head to fight in the last episode. Any show that fights with stratacasters, let alone famous ones, is kickass by me. Not a Naruto, Death Note or One Piece fan though. I guess I just held onto the stuff I got into as a kid.

BeBop is a compleate work of genius!

Oh man, don’t even get me started on Bebop. That whole series is just beautiful. The music, the story, the art, the compelling characters, the blues-western theme…I’ve been so into that series lately.

Seriously though, I’m not a gambler. I can play poker to an extent? But, uh… not that much. No sir.

I am currently re-enacting the ending of Dr. Strangelove using the game Civilizations II as a medium.

Test of Time or the regular?

Regular with full cheats for extra nuk-u-lar goodness. I tried sinking the continents by melting the ice caps, but I guess that only works in Alpha Centauri. Which I suspect may be the better of the two considering that Civ II nukes don’t leave a giant fucking crater when you’re done.

In Alpha Centauri, I’d terraform an enormous mountain, put one city on it and then melt the ice caps and kill all the other players by tidal wave. From which I derived a great deal more joy before the whole… Katrina… thing… >.>…

Alpha Centauri is a much better game. It’s like Civ II with steroids. Never tried the flooding though…..I guess it would just be too slow for me (Air power all the way!).

The flooding thing in Centauri is hilarious because only the cities with floaties will survive, everything else will be utterly destroyed. But everyone else will be soooo pissed at you. Which I love doing because, let’s face it, I’m going to use the planet buster on Sister Miriam eventually anyway.
