BCB as an animated series?

Pages: 1 / 2 (Newest) | Next page

Well, what I’m saying is, Two kinds already has it in the makes. I think BCB has a better story anime wise. Are there any animators/VO’s in the forum? This could bring BCB to the big time. I’d love to lend my voice to a character. Probably mike.

I..

A BCB cartoon would probably never work because I’d never be happy with the voices ;__; Because even I don’t know how they’d sound like! I’ve obsessed over Lucy’s voice and it JUST ISN’T COMING BECAUSE SHE IS A CONTRADICTION like she wouldn’t sound like a regular tsundere she would sound all soft and sweet WHICH IS WEIRD WHEN SHE’S TELLING YOU TO PISS OFF

Like that hilarious alpha dog from Up.

But seriously I think I’ve had little animations in my mind.. but they would be absolutely voiceless ;_; Because otherwise I would murder myself. *Slapped*

People’s speculations sound exciting, though! I would love to hear about it, maybe it would help me figure it out in the end.

I know, voices would be a huge problem. That’s why you’d have to lend constructive criticisms or pick-and-choose on the voices. If you were to settle on anything this really could become something far more than a comic. Hell, I only discovered BCB about three days ago and already I’ve finished it and I’m wanting more. Things really take time, that’s why you and possibly other people willing to spare time would need to co-ordinate the Voice overs and animation.

After all, before it becomes. ‘Official’ You can get an animator and some Voice actors to test drive it.

An audition would be fun and I feel like I could help direct an effort like this, but I think the main problem is that it takes a ton of time to do even bad animation, and Veronica doesn’t have that time. If we had enough money to employ a Korean sweatshop animation studio, this might work. Otherwise it’d be very shit.

Hahaha, well I really wish I could animate. I would offer my time. The only thing I could really offer is my voice. Like I was saying though. Two kinds has pretty much a whole team of animators working for free. You can’t tell me out the thousands of viewers that their are there isn’t a single decent animator. Anyway, conversation aside it’s like 4:00 am her and I need some sleep. Good night and I’ll talk to you later.

That and how am I supposed to make it to auditions for voicing…someone? I don’t know I actually have trouble seeing BCB animated. I have my own voices for the characters in my head and I know the actual voices would be much different.

._. woah, you described Lucy’s voice just as I was thinking it.
I always saw her as being a sweet voice even when insulting people XD

And yeh, an animation of the comic WOULD be awesome. <3

Now all we have to do is make Lucy look more like a sluttier wish-fulfillment furry fantasy and we’ll have every animator on FA working for us too.

XD!
Wanna make her the renamon of BCB?

Demien…just like me you where just like I WANNA VOICE ACT A BCB CHARACTER- so you just throw in this thread didn’t you? *btw I’m one of the bad animators in this forum*

Actually, I also couldn’t imagine BCB as animation, wether anime or cartoon, it wouldn’t be the same. And I guess, just like Taeshi I think that some fans wouldn’t be happy with the voicing too- I really can’t imagine some of the voices either.

Lisa May 10, 2010, 10:12 AM EST.

Tee hee. Hire Dan Green to do all the voices. LOL.

Gabriel Kaxbe May 10, 2010, 12:56 PM EST.

@Taeshi
Haha, I kinda imagined Lucy’s voice like that as well. I think Zachie’s obsession with it lent a hand in assuring that.

Lucy would have to be voiced by Gilbert Godfred.

you could just learn flash and do it yourself

Speaking of Flash and Koreans, not all animations have to have voices to convey a story. Just look what Korean team SamBakZa has done with There She Is!! (and why’d we pull Koreans out of the blue again?)

As a guy (yes, another “manly man”) who has just recently finished reading the story thus far, I’d love to see animations done, but I also know that it probably isn’t practical in the case of BCB. The stories scream the need for voice actors for all characters, so I’m not sure if a music video format would work like with the above Flash.

Awesome series that, I funny at first, but gets serious.

You know you can make an animated story.
The text box below or above shows the characters’ lines and the middle is all animated.
It’s typical if you don’t want voices, but want to add music and sound effects.

there she is more like there old shit is
actually the tweening was really well done on that series the first ep was pretty ahead of its time

I’m one of those crappy animators too, and I’d love to see BCB animated. Voices could be a huge problem, but I bet many people here would audition, so Taeshi could choose who might enter in the cast.

And I was personally thinking the animated versions could be only highlights of the funniest or most dramatic parts of the story, I dont know

I can do voice acting, but I doubt if any of my voices would fit the characters

I always wanted to do voice acting… I actually tried to apply to do voice acting at one point, but it never really got anywhere. It sounds like it would be sooo much fun though.

If ever this pushes through, I’d like to voice Abbey :3

That would insanely embarrass me because that means I see things I’ve drawn right in my face and the dialogue might be completely awkward and terrible ;_____;

oh man i wish i could do an animation.

that sounds kool… but it’ed take like a million years…
plus,as far as comparisons to “there she is!”
i was watching that while it was being published on “newgrounds”…
it took the guy several years to put out five 6 minute episodes.
it’s in the “my anime list” top 50 witch is amazing for an Independent work… but still… it took…
what ? 3 years ?
i’m on “newgounds” alot… and let me tell you, even the crappiest flash series have months of waiting
in between episodes, and most of them don’t even have sound.
… btw, doesn’t mike look just like the main guy from “there she is!” ?

also the voices are a problem…
y’know… for the longest time in imagined daisy with a slight southern accent… i don’t know why…

oddguy May 14, 2010, 11:26 AM EST.

@oddguy SamBakZa Went through quite a few problems and buyouts, moving to new offices, etc while making the ‘There she is!’ Series though. It was only a team of two or three animators.

Damien Budd May 14, 2010, 8:10 PM EST.

Comment ID #80320

Yeah, I’m also one of those crappy animators, but this is a good idea over all, yes it would take months, maybe a year, and the voices would be a pain in the ass, but if you pulled it off. Well, frankly, it would be fucking awesome.

I see what taeshi means about the voice. Lucy a contradiction to me. I hear it in my head, but it has a huge range. From a Spanish lullaby singer, to the typical aggressive anime female xD

the answer is to go wildly innapropriate with the voices, an example is to give Daisy a gruff scotish accent and to have David’s voice be an immitation of George Takei
