i have gotten away with it a number of times
create a private board and only invite specific users

or theres always flockdraw but i dunno if that has a chat feature

i guess I have no other way, but to try to put up a shi-chan online paint chat

I hear tell Taeshi is a mad-fast artist and would put everyone to shame in something like that.

Pretty sure it’s Oekaki Chat…like in the title….or were you being facetious?

OC only supports four people at a time… good for small groups, but not ideal for a proper “chat.”

OC is an abbreviation for Open Canvas. It is able to draw with other people, but MOOMANiBE stated that there are 4 people limit, so it’s a no-no.

I scribble will alow NSFW pics- liek we can use a private chatroom, I invite everyone and iScribble could care less what we scribble there-
but I don’t think we’ll ALWAYS be scribblign boobs ya know?
so I kinda thing iScribble would be cool-

all the other paintchat things I know don’t have rooms you can be alone in so- *shrugs*

I honestly don’t know of any pchat programs, so I’m pretty useless there.

That said, pros and cons of iscribble:

Pros:
* Having pchat with three layers is real helpful for coloring and cleaning lines. It also makes collaboration easier.
* The interface is pretty streamlined and allows for easy clearing of canvas, etc.
* Invite-only chat prevents random trolls from defacing the drawings.

Cons:
* New people can’t enter unless someone with permission allows them in. Current people who can invite: Myself, Lisa, Fourward, Taeshi.
* Fairly limited canvas space. With a lot of people, room is going to be an issue.
* No fancy addiitonal features like chat logging or saving images.

If you all can find a better alternative, I’m totally up for it.

An alternative is an Oekaki system itself.
It’s pretty set what with uploading capabilites and shared drawings alike.

It’s ok. If you had joined there wouldn’t have been any space for my art

I think that idea would be awesome. practically, the only Pchat you can install in sites right now (as far as I know) are Takamin Pchat (japanese) and Shi-chan Pchat (there should be an english one somewhere, but I have yet to find it)
